I always judge gluten free based on the product itself-and don't compare it to its "equivalent" in regular food. The very big compliment I can give to these is that MY SNEAKY HUSBAND kept raiding the boxes. They were emptying strangely fast! He usually avoids my GF food because the texture or flavor or whatever isn't the same... these are a winner. They are firm and crunchy and have a graham cracker flavoring. They are not soft like a conventional graham cracker though.

I am a recently discovered Celiac and I am having all kinds of issues with all kinds of different foods... these do not contain any of the foods I cannot eat, so they don't make me sick, AND THEY'RE DELICIOUS!! Thank you, Kinnikinnick, really though!!

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because these, unlike regular animal crackers, do not dissolve as easily for a toddler. My daughter did like the taste of them, although they have a stronger taste than regular animal crackers, but because these are smaller she only eats about 1/3 of it and then we have to switch crackers because she can't hold it anymore. Probably best for kids 3 and up.

IMO,the cookies are OK but not as good as I had anticipated. I am a "snacker" with Celiac Disease so I am always on the lookout for good gluten free snacks. I am a grandmother but I still like animal cookies :). I have tried the chocolate and the vanilla animal cookies in this brand and would have to rate them all about the same (about a 2.5). I used to love graham crackers so was hoping these cookies would taste like a graham cracker. I guess they may taste a "little" like graham but the texture isn't like a graham cracker - I guess that's what I was hoping for.

I ordered a set because my kids love the graham flavor. Which is pictured on this item. I was sent 6 chocolate animal cracker ones instead. So I ordered it again thinking it was just a mix up and then got 6 boxes of the vanilla cookies instead of the graham.

Really yummy. My kids love them. They miss out on so much with their allergy, but these are delicious.
