While I've used these when cycling I've actually used them more camping - especially in the winter. During the day they keep me warm enough and during the evening they make it so easy to slip my ski bibs over them. They stay up nicely even though I'm shaped like an oopma-loompa.

Edit of original review: If I could give customer service a review, it would be 10 STARS. When they read my review as seen below, they contacted me and offered to send me a size Medium so I could see if those were actually a better size for me, and if the waistband would be more comfortable. I accepted, and told them that if it was, and if I'd just sized them too small, I'd go back and upgrade my review from 3 stars. Unfortunately, the waistband is still way too tight and uncomfortable, even on the mediums. And with the mediums I now don't have the compression at the legs that I want, since really the size small fits perfectly everywhere except the waistband. I ended up just doing what others have done, and cutting into the elastic in the waistband and slicing it, so that it separates. Unfortunately the elastic is sewn on throughout (which is actually a wonderful quality aspect, since pants that don't have that end up with twisting elastic), which keeps me from being able to just pull the elastic out completely, which would be perfect. But it at least gave me an extra inch or so at the waist, changing them from super uncomfortable to tolerable. So while I can't give any more than 3 stars still, what I CAN say is that this company's customer service was by far, hands down, the BEST I've ever encountered on Amazon. Because of this, I'm going to continue to watch these tights and if they redesign them with a non-elastic, soft, wide waistband...I'll purchase immediately! :-)Original review:I wish I could give these 3.5 stars. I WANT to give them 5, because they're so awesome in SO MANY WAYS. If it just wasn't for that darned really tight waistband, they would be perfect. I'm hoping that if they see enough people complaining about it, that they'll redesign them to have a looser waist band.I'm 5'5" 123 pounds, without an athlete's build but in decent shape. I eat ridiculously healthy and work out most days. However, I do have very curvy hips, an hourglass figure no matter how in shape I am. I opted for the smalls in these because I wanted compression...no baggies. They fit perfect everywhere except the waist. When I wear these I've got a massive muffin top hanging out over the top, even though I'm not overweight. It's really really annoying, not only because it's not flattering, but it's simply VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.These seem like they were designed only for people with athletic body types, meaning pure muscle around the waist. The fabric is already made out of compression type material, so there's just no need at all to put that tight elastic around the waist. These could have simply had a wide band without the elastic, and they would still stay up perfectly. Or, also OK would be a tie at the waist without the elastic, so that people without hips don't have to worry about them falling down.Besides the waistline, these are a great; very thick, warm fabric. I run on the cold side so for temps lower than 40 or so I still need to wear sweats over them, but that's just me. Some people have complained that these don't go to the ankles, or that the ankles aren't tight enough. I have somewhat long legs for my height, and these reach my ankles. I also have really skinny ankles and these are definitely tight enough. Any tighter and my long winter running socks wouldn't be able to fit under them; but even without the long socks, they are perfectly tight enough.So the summary is, if you have a larger stomach, you'll need to size way up, which means that the legs will then be really loose...unless of course you have thick legs also. But just in general, this company seriously needs to realize that most people, even fit people, don't have 25 inch waists. It's just so old-school to have that tight, uncomfortable waist band. I still wear them and love everything else about them, thus the 3 stars...but that waistline needs to be redesigned if these are going to earn more than 3 stars.

Absolutely LOVE these. I have two pairs now. They ride below the belly button, which is great. They are warm but not too thick that it is uncomfortable. Extremely comfortable. I wear them everywhere.I have 29-inch waist and small fits fine. 5'4''

These fleece lined tights are perfect for wearing under my tri biking shorts on cold days. I'm 5' 4" and weigh 114 pounds. Small fits perfect.

I have been struggling for a while to find a good pair of warm leggings to run in. I live in Minnesota where the winters get very cold, but I like to be outside as much as I can during it. I’ve tried several different types of leggings, even a more expensive UA brand, and it doesn’t even compare anything to how awesome these leggings are. They are super soft inside, keep my legs nice and toasty on winter runs up to about 20°F without an extra layer. I don’t really have to fuss with the zipper at the ankles, however I like that they have a reflective stripe on it, and it makes the leggings look cute. The zipper pocket on the back is very small and really doesn’t fit my phone, so I don’t really use that feature. They cover everything they need to, and don’t slip down. The waistband is smaller in width, like other reviewer‘s have said, so I sized up to make sure that I didn’t have it cinching my stomach too much. I bought a large and it worked really well. Waist falls just below my belly button, so not high rise. I wish this came in high rise with a wide waist band, too, but the mid rise doesn’t bug me. I love these so much and couldn’t wash them fast enough, and I finally bought another pair. So now I have a solid black pair, and a black with a gray stripe pair… Both equal in quality and comfort and warmth… These are my favorite running leggings, by far!

Die Hose wurde schnell geliefert und macht qualitativ einen sehr guten Eindruck. Ich habe sie in Größe M bestellt und sie passt perfekt. (Bei einer Größe von 1.64 m und 58 kg.) Sie passt auch in der Länge sehr gut. Oft sind mir Laufhosen ein wenig zu lang.Sie fühlt sich angenehm auf der Haut an und schnürt nirgendwo ein. Anfangs war ich etwas skeptisch, ob sie vielleicht bei längerem Laufen etwas rutschen würde, da sie nicht so stramm sitzt, wie meine anderen Laufhosen und oben am Bund neben dem Gummi keine zusätzlichen Bänder hat, um die Hose selbst noch etwas fester zu binden. Doch nach ein paar Probeläufen saß die Hose immer noch perfekt. Heute bin ich bei null Grad Celsius gelaufen und habe nicht gefroren.Würde ich auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen!

Ich habe mir diese Hose fürs Radfahrer im Winter gekauft. Ziehe noch eine Thermo-Unterhose drunter. Finde sie sehr schön, sie hat beim waschen nicht ausgefärbt und sie ist angenehm zu tragen. Aufgrund der Rezensionen hab ich sie mal eine Nummer größer bestellt, was sich als Fehler herausgestellt hat. Bei mir ist sie leider ein bisschen zu lang und zu weit, da fehlt dann doch das Bändchen am Bund. Aber zum Radfahrer ist sie ok.

Als diese Hose kam, dachte ich erst, dass sie bestimmt nicht so warm sein kann, weil der Stoff eher dünn ist. Aber ich bin nun mehrmals in kühler bis kalter Abendluft damit gelaufen und sie hat mich positiv überrascht. Die Beine kühlen nicht aus, gleichzeitig passt sie sich super an ohne eng zu sitzen. Sie ist sehr bequem und sieht dabei noch auf dezente Weise hübsch aus.

Gerade im Winter soll der Becken-/Nierenbereich warmgehalten werden, auch beim Sport. Leider ist diese Hose ungeeignet, da der Bund viel zu tief sitzt. Geht retour
