A good quality beard wash.
This product left my beard feeling clean and my face refreshed. The scent was not overwhelming like some others I have tried. It also is a decent size for the cost. A little goes a long way with this wash and it has lasted me quite a while for regular use.

Performs well, made in Italy, but value may be questionable...
I really like the Framesi Barber Gen Hair & Beard Natural Cleanser Shampoo. But we get off to a bad start when I peel off the "safety" sticker and there is a thick 3 inch strip of gooey adhesive left on each side of the bottle. Did no one test this? Framesi needs to reconsider this approach immediately; this is a mess.I had a bottle of heavy duty adhesive neutralizer on hand, which most people will not. This heavy chemical, gloves, and 4 thick paper towels were enough to clean the bottle. This took about 15 minutes of time. I hate gooey adhesive mess.So after the unpleasant introduction, how does the product perform as shampoo? Fairly well, I'd say. I like the scent - which is the mysteriously labeled ingredient "Parfum (Fragrance)", I assume. I don't think there are any natural ingredients producing the scent. This shampoo lathers up nicely and does a fine job cleaning my hair. I'd say conditioner is a must afterwards, however. After use, my hair doesn't feel very soft and running my fingers through it seems to catch a snag here and there. But it feels clean, and it's nothing conditioner won't fix.But that price tag, ouch. And only 4 fl. oz.? I'm not particularly feeling the value here. Maybe I'm being generous with the four stars. But then again, this stuff is made in Milano, Italy and those fine folks pay a livable wage. A lovely part of the world, indeed. So yeah, 4 stars feels about right.

Leaves Hair Soft and Has a Nice Scent
With Framesi's shampoo being designed for beards, it has a nice nourishing formula for the hair on your head. While this shampoo isn't a replacement for conditioner for added moisture and nourishment, it doesn't overly strip your head of all its oils. Another thing I like about this shampoo is the scent. I would say the notes of this fragrance are some sort of wood and amber. Upon first using this shampoo, the scent was immediately recognizable from another product I had used in the past. I later figured out it smelled exactly like the Bath and Body Works Men's Collection, Midnight scent. The two possible downsides of this product are the price and, for some people, the scent. For only getting 8.5 fl oz, the price seems a little steep considering you could get way more product for less. The second downside is the scent, at least for some people. While I really enjoy the scent, it could irritate a sensitive scalp due to its potency. Looking at the ingredients, the fragrance is listed as the seventh ingredient out of twenty. Besides that, the other ingredients seem to be pretty good, and I don't really have a problem with sulfates in the product, considering you rinse them off.Overall I really like Framesi's Beard/Hair Shampoo. I can honestly tell the difference between a largely naturally derived ingredients product versus synthetic ingredients in my body and hair care products in the level stripping. While the price is high for this product, you generally have to pay more for good fragrance and ingredients in products. For that reason, if you are looking to splurge, I would recommend trying out Framesi's Shampoo.

Mot bad at all...
I got this on a whim and I'm happy I did. This shampoo says it's for both a beard and your hair. I don't have a beard, so I'm writing this based on head hair, not beard hair. For head hair, it's ok, not great, but not bad either. I terms of a daily shampoo, you could do better and save money. But as a nice lux item, used less frequently, it's not bad at all. The scent is light, very light by US shampoo standards. What I can discern is pleasant too - not not easily described. It's doesn't smell chemical like, nor is it flower like - it's not feminine, as you'd expect. The liquid is on the light side, but lathers quite well. When I poured it in my hand, I didn't think it would lather as well as it did. I had no issues rinsing it out either. One thing to note - if it is for a beard, this may tend to dry our normal hair. I didn't notice anything, but it's something to note since beard hair contains more oils. Overall, I am happy with and glad I tried it - it's a good change of the routine.

Leans Towards Clarifying
My son with medium thickness, long, normal to oily hair, 3a/3b curl and a very full bushy bearddoes enjoy this shampoo for his head hair as a clarifying shampoo. It is super well lathering with a quarter size amount, leaves hair squeaky clean. Left his hair, and beard somewhat dry, and very fluffy , nothing a good conditioner could not remedy. For that fact, feel it more of a occasional wash to rid build up on hair and scalp . He claims his scalp feel refreshed. As a beard shampoo, it did dry and make his skin feel tight around his lips . I feel conflicted , as it is a beard shampoo, but then it`s not especially as facial skin care product. For a quick all in one , jump in and out of shower, and yes, the clarifying aspect, it very well can be an asset to some. The scent is pleasant, masculine - clean cedar , woody, combined with a sweet mellow of amber.
