Good heavy duty tool for its special usage

Arrived earlier than expected
Good tool but will have to slightly grind the edges of the rear plier so I don't pinch my fingers while using.

I expected better
It is quite tight to operate. Sometimes, new tools are, so I use a little WD40 to loosen them up. But this tool isn't loosening for all that. Feels like China garbage. Low standards.

Very good tool. Could be a little better
They were easy to use and comfortable to the hand. If you are using them on larger wires, the handles might be a little bit short which makes it harder to get the leverage needed to crimp bigger terminals/splices. Also, the cutting blades are beveled on both sides so you can't get a very close cut like you can with side dykes. All in all, I like using these but I would change a couple small designs if I could.

great quality. a little different from other crimpers
This is actually the second pair of this style of groupers that I have owned. I just randomly seeing these on Amazon so I picked up a second set. For my tool box at home. I have used these crimpers for over 10 years and my first pair is still is good as the day I bought them.. what I like about these is that the crimping surface is fairly wide so if you're cramping a lot of insulated terminals it is really a good pair of crimpers for those. Type of crimps.the crimp surface is wide... if you are look in for the pointy type of crimp from the Thomas&Betts or Channellock crimper these are not for you... those tools have their place . these GB ceimpers will not pierce the casing on insulated terminals.Now if I can only find a pair of the wire strippers I have of the same brand from 10 years ago I would buy another set. They have similar sites available now but they have the silly little circuit tester on the handle which I dislike.

Functional crimper, but...
Functional crimper but the plastic handles are not firmly attached they slip around and rotate a bit after use, it's actually too bad because they're not bad other than the build quality.

Excellent crimpers at an affordable price!
These are definitely the most solid crimpers I have used. At the time of purchase they were also one of the most reasonably priced. In the past I have had issues with other crimpers either not completely crimping, spreading open and twisting causing the butt connector to become jammed between the crimpers, or requiring so much force to crimp correctly that my hand quickly becomes cramped and sore. These crimpers have none of those issues.
