Baronessa Cali Tarocco Sicilian Blood Red Orange Moisturizer - Clean, Refreshing, Invigorating Body Lotion - 22.5 Ounce

First, I bought this lotion for my wife and not myself. That being said, I have a particularly sensitive nose, and many lotions and moisturizers are so chemical smelling that I have to roll down the car windows when we go anywhere. This lotion, on the other hand, smells like like a California orange grove, or a day in Tuscany, or Christmas morning... I don't know, I'm not much of a poet, but it takes you somewhere else. Somewhere sunny and warm and fun. It has a not so faint smell of orange peel, combined with a light fragrance that smells subtly feminine, but not so over the top that you couldn't put it on your kids. In fact, it works fine for my dry hands too, although it's a little pricey for ME to use! When I rub some of it into my wife's neck or arms, it has a glide to it that stays with you, making your skin feel silky, but not even a little bit greasy. I wouldn't suggest it for massage, since the glidy feeling only lasts a few seconds, but the olive oil in it keeps your skin silky for hours. Some reviews have mentioned the cost. It IS expensive... but comparable to other great (non-chemical smelling) lotions like L'occitane. I wish she could use only those two, but in Colorado, skin gets dry in a hurry. I can't get her the best ALL the time, but when I can splurge, this is at the top of my (and her) list.

We recently bought Baronessa Cali Tarocco Sicilian Blood Red Orange Moisturizer and it is a terrific product. My wife had been suffering from red, raw, and cracked skin on her hands. We tried other products with limited success. This moisturizer works the best. Her hands are now soft and free of redness and cracks. It has a pleasant scent and is a great value for the money.

I’ve had a small bottle that was in our motel room at the Oxford Suites in Chico, Ca. For about 10 years. I found it tucked away so started using it. Loved the feel on my skin and still had a very soft fragrance. Non greasy. I will be ordering this on a regular basis. You will too.

My wife thinks this product helps to keep mosquitos away due to the citrus smell and it keeps her skin soft.

I discovered Tarocco blood orange lotion in a hotel several years ago and was pleased to find the product on Amazon. Smells amazing, and works well to keep skin soft and smooth. The seller in my case, however, may not have been the most ethical; the plastic bottle was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped up very tightly, then the whole thing was stuck into a box and shipped to me. There was no visible damage to the box, and yet when I finally got all the tape and bubble wrap off the bottle, then entire cap and pump setup was shattered and cannot be used at all. I cannot fathom how this could have happened during shipping, so I believe they knew about the damage before sending it to me. Still, I can pour the product out just fine and am enjoying it.

The product definitely add moisture to dry skin and softens. Love the citrus smell.

They shipped in a bag instead of a box so there was lotion EVERYWHERE in the bag and of consequently on ME. Smelled nice at first but quickly got weary of the scent since it was such a nightmare. For lotion this expensive you expect it to be shipped more carefully. No replacement offered and I had to clean it up and ship it back which was annoying.

Smells good, not oily, easily absorbed and effective.For itch and dry flaky skin.
