and no sparkle. The image looks like it has sequins, they are a trick of the light. Has a lovely sheen though. I am going to layer it over a brighter gold anyway so they will work together to get the shade I want. Hard to get light gold without it looking beige. Doubling it would also work.

lovely fabric to sew with as it is soft and pliable.Gorgeous gold colour exactly as shown on the website which is so important if it needs to be matched up with something I already own.

Made a lovely “voile” curtain using the organza and material was good on the sewing machine . Overall very happy indeed.

I ordered this item from Amazon last January to replace a similar festive table cover I had used for years which had finally had it's day. I stupidly didn't check it when it arrived as I wasn't going to be using it until the following Christmas and so in the drawer it went for a few months. When took it out on Christmas Eve to decorate our Christmas table I was alarmed to see it had clearly been cut with scissors from a role and was completely frayed and uneven! I was shocked this company didn't even have the decency to cut it in a straight line, but that aside it would be impossible for the edges not to fray as it hasn't been stitched! Long story short, I re-ordered another one last week, slightly longer this time in the hope that last year's was just a one off mistakez. But it wasn't! The new one is just as bad if not worse and I'm absolutely fuming!! I don't dispute it is good value for money, but it is very thin and The Sellers should highlight in the description that it's cut from a role and not stiched. I'm really suprised how they think this is acceptable and certainly for not fore warning the buyer. If I had known this I would never had ordered one, let alone two!! Complete waste of money doe me as I can't use the new one either and I'm sadly not a sewing person who could potentially fix the problem. Don't order this item if you're planning to use it as a table cover unless you have a sewing machine!
