Is the mesh surface easy to keep clean?

these boards are good for occasonal cooks thye are smaller than thought and the surface mars faaaairly easly so not a hard type plastic. I personally would never buy them agan we are alreay starting to through them out

Do you tend to see cut/knife marks in the surface after repeated?

We have been using the boards for a while, now. The color seems to go all the way through, so while we can see little slashes in the boards, they are the same color as the boards, themselves. We previously had white cutting boards, and despite repeated washing, the cut marks turned brown (probably from fluids that came from whatever we cut on the board, like apples, for instance). This is not the case with these colored boards.
