Only problem with it being glass it cracked after two goes.

Christmas gift.
I bought this for a friend for Christmas as she had been bemoaning the fact that she struggled to make enough coffee for guests.She seemed very pleased as was I when I saw it. Other than that I cannot comment on its performance I'm afraid and that's why I could only give 4 stars. It arrived early and very well packed which was impressive.

Seems robust, and keeps the coffee grinds out
Very good value for money. We bought this to replace our old one, which cracked during use. We always had to use a strainer with the old one, as the plunger didn't hold back the coffee grinds, so its great to be able to ditch this and use as intended.

Good value large cafetière
Good quality plastic parts feel solid. Brews well and size means there is plenty of coffee for a larger group.

Waste of money
Rubbish buy. The plunger/mesh either doesn’t fit right or the mesh isn’t fine enough. I tried three different ground coffees and it let all of them though for a nice mug of sludge in the morning.
