The drapes we received matched the cream color as displayed in the website for which I was grateful since that color was hard to find with any other brand. They appeared stiff and wrinkled when coming out of the package, however after putting them in the dryer for about 20 minutes, most of the folds and wrinkles came out. The drapes were put up as blackout curtains and work pretty well, however with the grommet style drapes and rod, there is always light that comes in at the top (unless a valence is put on) and a bit on the sides. Other than those items noted, the drapes look good in the bedroom and are well made.

I absolutley love these curtains! They are definitely black out. The sun shines right in our living window and these took care of that problem. I love the navy blue and the metal grommets. I even got them at a lower price than what they are now. I plan to buy another pair in the near future.

Quality and weight was great. They were sooooo wrinkled on arrival. I tried tumbling them in a warm dryer and still more wrinkled than I wanted. I stuff out my iron sand ironing board and stood and ironed curtains for couple of hours (multiple windows). Haven’t used them through the winter yet but temperature in the room that catches full sun over 1/2 the day was drastically lower. Overall worth the price. Just be ready to deal with wrinkles.

Heavy silky fabric. Rich looking. Excellent sunblock. Haven’t laundered yet but looks quite durable.

What to say about these blackout curtains? They do the job so full marks for room darkening. However, the ones I received came out of the box completely wrinkled from being shipped folded tightly. The fabric does resemble dupioni, but is so stiff the curtains are impossible to keep open completely without tiebacks. The care tag says to hand wash cold (um, what?!), line dry, no iron. How are we supposed to remove the wrinkles?!? I've tried steaming them, and although they do soften a bit, the wrinkles still exist.Final words: blackout? Check. Beautiful and decorative? Not really. If you want a silk-look curtain and really need it to look nice in your room, keep searching. If you just need to sleep, these will work.

Great on two fronts. 1) watch big screen during the day, as our living room window is on the south wall, and 2) they block the cold, as we live in the Northeastern part of Ontario Canada
