Lovely and green
Though they were priced rather high, I am just grateful that these are even available through Amazon, as I am unable to shop for them on foot. They were very green – just as I'd hoped – and they've made a lot of lovely tostones – some of which I have frozen. But once they're all gone, I will be back here!

Very good quality plantains
For some reason I was sent four not five plantains , who employs packers that can't count to five . I was refunded quickly which is to there credit . that is why I give four stars .

Went from green to black
The first time I ordered this product it was great - the green plantain, after a week or so turned just slightly yellow, which was perfect: I like 'turn' plantain.However, this last order was stubbornly hard and green. After a few days I tried one, it was exceptionally difficult to peel and had started to turn a little black. After another week there was no yellow but a lot more black.Summed up - you win some you lose some; on this occasion I lost. Might/might not try again
