This is a great price for 3 sushi mats. Having 3 is good in case you want to make sushi with a friend group/family. I used mine for making california rolls and the mat doesn't stick to the rice at all. It was super easy to clean because it was plastic and I don't have to worry about bacteria growing on it. The picture shows my second attempt making sushi so I'd definitely say these are easy to use!

Can't recommend these enough! I recommend these to all my sushi loving friends and even bought them as a gift for my sister. My family loves to make sushi and for years we used a bamboo roller and it is such a pain to clean and after a while starts to peel and I have to buy another. This one is plastic and amazing! It cleans so easily and a big part of that is stuff doesn't get stuck to it like my bamboo one did. I can make my tight rolls and I love this one because I prefer inside out rolls and my rice doesn't stick. I have made regular rolls and still have not had any issues with rolling or sticking. I will continue to recommend these because they really are amazing, look no further and just buy these!

Not as flexible as bamboo, but love the colors and ability to clean

Easy to use and easy clean up. We make sushi at home twice a month for large gatherings and these have been a great addition. We bought ours in 2022 and only one has broken a little. I would recommend if you don’t want to mess with covering bamboo mats in plastic. So I would recommend these for home sushi makers.

Think cheap garbage again from Amazon. These don’t roll because they’re just thin plastic. Everything stick to them. If you want an alternative to the bamboo, buy actual silicon matts.

Sure the traditional style of sushi mat is bamboo, well they didn't have plastic then, they made all kinds of stuff out of bamboo back in the dynasty. Unless you ride a donkey to work and light your house with whale oil, you've probably come to love modern materials. It's time to up your sushi mat game then and this is how you do it. Just like my fancy Zoji rice maker comes with a dimpled plastic spoon and not a bamboo one, this sushi mat has a dimpled surface so the rice doesn't stick and it's so easy to clean. Hey Einstein, instead of covering up a bamboo mat in plastic wrap, just start with a plastic mat.

Too stiff to roll sushi. I admit I’m not good at rolling but this isn’t helping.

These make for an easy sushi night. They’re easy to clean between rolls and you don’t have to juggle the plastic wrap and bamboo. They’re made really well too. We’ve used them about a dozen times so far and they haven’t broke.
