Q: Does this come with an 11-speed shimano compatible freehub? I cannot find it sold separately online as it says in the description.

Hello, thanks for the question. The freehub is for Sram XDR 12-speed cassettes only, unfortunately, it is not included in the package and we don't have it in stock right now.

Q: I am a horrible bike mechanic and don't fully understand the process. Do I need to buy a cassette, or remove my cassette from my bike, and put it on?

You do need a cassette to work with the T100 trainer, you can either buy a new one or use the one on your bike, as long as it is compatible to the trainer(Shimano/Sram 8 ~ 11 speed cassettes). There's an assemble video at the end of the listing, please take a look, I hope it could help you understand the process better.

try turning your phones bluetooth off and on and see if it connects.

Hello, if it is a cassette, it probably will work; if it is a freewheel, it will not. Please double check your "cassette" is a cassette or a freewheel.
