I won’t lie—these are very uncomfortable to sleep in if that is how you choose to use them. I find that sleeping in them after putting them in slightly damp hair makes my waves last the longest, but I have also tried using some leave in conditioner and wearing them for a few hours. This works too but not as well as overnight. They are simple enough to put in, I have only ever used them on myself. The angle is sometimes awkward and I always make sure the wave is going a certain way but as long as there isn’t too much hair, it is easy to put in. Great way to do waves without using heat on your hair!

These are the perfect length for my hair and came with enough to spare, I had 8 unused. So my specific technique would be to split your hair down the middle start in the back and take little sections at a time (clipping back the bulk of the hair) twisting at the root and hooking it through the crochet hook and then pulling the form onto your hair. I showered before I started and I put deep conditioner and a gel in my hair so that the curls will stay for the following day. If you have fine and straight hair I would recommend putting hairspray in your hair after taking out the forms before styling and then some after styling if you have naturally curly hair and you’re just doing this to reform your current curls I don’t see why you would need the hairspray but so be it. My only grievance with this (and the reason for only 4 stars) is that I had to sleep with them in and they are very uncomfortable. If you sleep on your back it might be a little bit easier but I’m a side sleeper and it was hard to fall asleep. I do however love the convenience of putting these in the night before after showering and waking up and having my hair done perfectly because I wake up at like 6 AM and it makes my routine much shorter to just already have my hair done.

I ordered the longest size possible for my daughter and me, and they were great! For context, I have used Curlformers to loosen and smooth my tight 3c curls without heat, and my girl has thick wavy (also frizz prone) hair and uses heatless products to define her natural wave/barrel curls and also smooth.So glad I found these! For $20 bucks, the quality of the curlers was equivalent to Curlformers, for which I’ve spent near a hundred for the same product/amount.A caveat: The wand from this seller is thin and wobbly for our thick hair, and the hook space isn’t big enough (image shows Curlformers wand in black vs the one you get with this in blue). Fortunately, I’m a pro at these by now and it wasn’t a huge issue (plus, I used my Curlformers wand too — my daughter’s job when I put them in her hair is to load the next curler and she used both) but I understand why reviewers said they were impossible to use and gave up. These type of curlers used to piss me off.IF you’re struggling, here are some tips:- DON’T try to shove too much hair into one curler. It won’t dry right and it will tangle when you try to put it in the curler! If your hair doesn’t dry completely in these things — at least for us curly girls — you will end up with a frizzy mess.- DO slightly TWIST the root of the hair selection, so that when you put it in the hook, there are no strays- DO (important!) Face the opening of the hook toward the ceiling and sweep the hair toward the floor! The reason your hair is snarling inside the curler is because you have dragged only a portion of the hair selection. If you’re pulling it all through at once it won’t tangle. Your goal is to keep ALL of the hair near the pointy tip of the wand and away from the opening!- DON’T tear them out of your hair like the women do in the videos associated with this product. When you take them out, pinch the rubber end near your root and straighten the curlformer before sliding it off your hair so as to reduce the friction against your hair and thus frizz! I like to add a tiny bit of oil afterward on both of our hair textures, but know your texture and porosity before you add oil. Might not be a good fit for you.Hope that helps!

I have 4a/4b hair and these made me look a whole fool. I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone with 3b hair and under.

I saw these on social media posts. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they curled my hair type, fine and thin. It’s pretty long so 30 just barely was enough.1. It’s sort of hard to do on your own.2. They are comfortable once in. Not hard or too heavy.3. They stay put! Amazed me how they stayed in even shaking my head.4. Even though they stay in well they pull out super easily! I grabbed 3 at one time and they slid off no problem.5. I wouldn’t recommend sleeping in them. Not all that great 😂6. Only took an hour and a half to dry. I did hit it with low heat hair dryer for about 2 min before I took them out to make sure it was dry. You seriously can’t tell when they’re on because the mesh is pretty thickAll in all I give this 4 stars. I would give it 5 but the only drawback is it was super hard for me to do on my own. My husband put most in and even he said. This is easy to do.The wave it gave me was PHENOMENAL! My hair looked so shiny and pretty. Because you’re curling with no heat and no chemicals.I woke up this AM and still curly. Best part, the no heat and no frizz from them! I hope after a few times using them I get better at doing it alone. Totally worth the trouble! BUY THEM!!!

they work but very uncomfortable to sleep in and if your hair is past your shoulders get longer ones i thought they were gonna be to long for my hair but i was very wrong still looked pretty tho

Bought as a gift.

Bei meinen knapp schukterlangen Haaren machen sienschöne Wellen, die ich so mit Flechten nicht hinbekommen würde. Einfach in der Handhabung. Leider ist es (zumindest für mich) unmöglich sie über Nacht beim schlafen drin zu lassen, daher nur 4 Sterne, wobei ich denke, dass das Produkt vermutlich auch nicht extra für "overnight"-Wellen designt wurde.

Hätte mir nicht gedacht das dies funktioniert meine tochter hat langes sehr dickes haar und will unbedingt locken es hat mit Lockenstab nicht funktioniert und den normalen wicklern auch nichtAber mit diese klappt es perfekt habe 2 Päckchen gekauft weil es sonst zu wenige sind
