Green ToysDisney Baby Exclusive - Mickey Mouse Stacker, Red

I purchased the Green Toys submarine, plane, dump truck, and Mickey Mouse stacker. ALL of them have a sweet chemical stink to them. I let them air out for five days then I wiped them down, washed them in the dishwasher twice, hand washed them, and they've been airing out for the last month and they STILL stink. I emailed the company after all the washes I did and they responded by saying that the recycled products are run on a line next to other items like laundry detergent bottles and, while they never touch those bottles, sometimes the detergent smell leeches into the plastic and it'll eventually air out. They then offered a replacement for the toys if I wanted. I'm grossed out because I'm pretty positive that if a food safe plastic is recycled in a facility that also recycles chemical bottles then the plastic is no longer considered food grade because the plastics can pick up the smells and chemicals that are emitted from the nearby items being recycled. So if she's telling me they picked up dishwasher or laundry detergent scents, then what else are they picking up from those chemicals? So I responded by saying I wanted the replacement. She said she'd let me know in a day or so when they shipped out and give me a tracking number. That was three weeks ago and I have emailed her twice since then and been ignored each time. Now I'm beyond the return date with Amazon and stuck with these toys that I'm not giving to my son. I'm leaving this review on every toy that I purchased since it applies to all four of them. I have seen similar reviews on other Green Toys products and they're all recent, so I'm wondering if they changed facilities and that's why they didn't used to have this issue and now suddenly there's a bunch of reviews about the smell

I actually bought this one on sale just to go in the living room toybox for when company comes over with little ones. These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What's not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don't have the aggravation of my grandson's other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940's or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

My 1 year old loves to stack things and is in love with Mickey, so when I saw a Mickey stacking set I couldn’t pass it up. The pieces are super sturdy and super easy to stack. I love that they don’t have any harsh chemicals in them.

I love green toys. Great quality and well made. I am happy to support products that are made in the USA, especially since my child puts everything in his mouth.

We love everything from Green Toys, and this little stacker has been a nice addition to our collection. We got this for our 10 month old for Christmas and so far he has really been enjoying it. He can’t stack the pieces himself yet but loves knocking it over and chewing on Mickey’s ears. I love that, like all the Green Toys stuff, I can always throw the pieces in the dishwasher to clean them if needed. Can’t recommend this or any of the other Green Toys toys enough!

The quality of this toy is great! My son enjoys playing with it daily. This you is super easy to clean! I wash them in the sink with a sponge. It takes minimal space and my son is entertained with it.

These are a baby favorite. They are perfect size and weight for little one yet sturdy. They spin like tops, they are put on heads as hats, they become dishes and hockey pucks. A great imagination and skill building toy.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew who is almost one! I have not given it to him just yet but I did check it out once it got to me. It seems durable and is really cute! I think he will have lots of fun with it!

Good material. Worth the buy!
