Bought these for a camping trip and they worked great! Super bright and lightweight. The headlamps were brighter than the lanterns and had different features which was nice. The lanterns were great and have crazy battery life. My only complaint is that one of the lanterns never clicked off when it was collapsed. You could still some light shinning through. At first I thought this was normal but the other lantern didn’t do this. You could hear a click when it was closed/opened which I guess was the power switch. The trip was already a few weeks ago and the (broken) lantern still has battery, but the light is dim. All in all I’m fine with the lanterns and headlamps. They work and even the broken one doesn’t stop me from using them.

I bought these to keep nearby for emergency outages and to use in our shed that has no electricity.I have used the headlamp already several times to find dropped items in skinny dark places or if doing certain other work where I need better light. I really like the lantern and head lamp. Both are bright enough for my needs.Not sure how helpful it would be outdoors at night- I think it depends on distance you might need for light.I sent my 9 year old grandson one of each so he could use them when camping or in his fort!

The lights is very bright, the head light , you can set the brightness in 3 different settings

These are very bright, with a clean white light. Can control amount of light by opening lantern more or less. Lightweight.
