Safe and ideal
I used these as I was powering lights for the kitchen skirting boards. Once you get the hang of how to clamp them. It was very easy. Using a transformer of 24v. Not sure if they can be used for mains supply. Check with manufacturer before buying. Great little product.

Not Easy to Use
I needed to add additional wiring to the underside of a model railway layout. I thought that these connections would make life easier, but it wasn't really the case. The connecting section, that needs to be crimped, is very strong. I had several tried with a crimping tool to get wires in place. This was not easy to do lying on my back and craney my neck upwards. They did the job in the end but not without some struggle and effort.

Does the job
I used these to fit some LEDs in my car and although I am happy with the result there are a few issues. The splicer part couldn't through the wires so I had to strip them to attach it and the other part is quite firm so its difficult to crimp it even when using a crimping tool.

Not good, scary, bad!
Got these today and wow, sorry to say but quite disappointed and quite scared!To start theyre hard to crimp, the claws inside are definitely not 10 to 12 AWG as you can see. More like 16 to 20 at best. Shredded my wire and and fell right off after clipping. I must say these are generally not easy to work with.They may work ok for 16 to 20 AWG with some tape and some luck, but definitely not a well thought out connection idea.Open the metal groove up to proper 10 awg, put 3 claws inside just 1 as it scares me to think of 600 volts and 24 amps going through it...Take these off the shelf please!!!
