Purchased this to use with a Bible Study group I was doing. Seems more on the devotional side with little commentary. The group study questions are a repeat in theme for every book. I think Crossway missed the mark on this one- for example I would have liked to see more relevant commentary / questions contrasting what Habakkuk a was going through with the Chaldeans back then compared to our world problems today- ie covid, terrorism, etc.

I found this study guide very helpful. I needed more than one session on each study as there was so many connections between the Old and New Testaments I hadn’t previously seen. It also made the gospel more precious to me. Thank you.
