This is the 2nd time I am using my banneton and so far I love it! the 9 inch size is perfect for my 5 qt dutch oven. I love that I am easily able to transfer my loaf from the basket into my preheated dutch oven. I use it with the liner - have not tried it without yet. I have started making sourdough bread and am so happy i got this. It's really nice having it contained in a basket since many sourdough bread recipes require a lengthy rising time.. 12 to 24 hours (much nicer than having it rise on a cookie sheet!). The instructions that are provided are very helpful. they are an e-book. I would have preferred having a hard copy of the instructions in the box but that's just me. I recommend this product.

True to their name, this product arrived in simple and plain packaging; this is a company and a product that is basic and to the point. No false or unnecessary advertising, or unnecessary inserts here. The instructions were easy to read, and the webpage is insightful and practical. The price-to-product comparison was perfect. This is the way business should be. I look forward to seeing more from this company.

This is a really great banneton kit. The problem I’ve had with cheaper bannetons is that they splinter and fray, and you end up with wood in your dough. This one is really well made and studrdy.The cloth cover works great, as well, if you prefer using those. The included linen bread bag is cute and actually does work. My sourdough loaf stayed fresh for about a week after slicing, before it started to stale at the exposed edges. The bench scraper is a fairly standard metal one, nothing really special. But you can always use another bench scraper.

The quality is passing, although the banneton has splinters on the inside. The 'new' smell isn’t too strong. I use the liner and the linen bag to proof overnight in the fridge. The scraper is fine but the edges and corners seem unnecessarily sharp (maybe it has a double usage to score the bread lol).

This is a really great set for a starting baker. The linen bread bag is nice. The scraper is sturdy. The banneton is well made and has no splinters. The linen lining is nice and is sewn together well. The lining is very tight, I wouldn't mind seeing a little more fabric and better elastic band. But for $20, and everything you get, this is the harshest criticism I can come up with, which isn't much. Highly recommend.

Since this product was purchased for inclusion in a gift basket, I was not actually able to use the items, hence my 'undecided' rating for 'easy to use' and 'easy to clean.' However, I am confident the winner of that basket will be thrilled!!

Awesome ! However. If your trying to use the dough “cutter” to score your bread... just get a lame. A lame works much better.Everything else was as described

The banneton performed as expected and seems like it is well made and will hold up through many bread risings. The banneton lining and linen bread bag were both seem to be made of a high quality cloth and sewed well together. The bench scraper is helpful and easy to clean.

I needed this for raising my overnight bread. After heating up the Dutch oven nice and hot, it is easy to take the risen loaf and lower it in. Voila!
