Equal Exchange Organic Dark Hot Chocolate, 12 Ounce

So richly deep of chocolate! It’s amazing for hot cocoa that is not very sweet but I have also added some to cake recipes with great results. Fantastic quality!

This is a very tasty dark chocolate mix to make hot chocolate beverages. One can add either hot milk or hot water to a tablespoon of Equal Exchange Organic Dark Hot Chocolate and have a delicious hot chocolate to warm your body and soul.

For those not wanting a too sweet powder. Flavorful Dark Chocolate predominates and is sooooooooo satisfying. I also used this to add that DARK CHOCOLATE flavor to less strong Hot Chocolate powders.

Excellent - spicy and not too sweet

From hot cocoa, to my morning mocha, this is a kitchen staple in my home. I love that it not only tastes amazing, but the quality ingredients take it to the next level. First of all, I so enjoy scooping this out of the round container, rather than a plastic bag! Way less messy! The serving size is quite generous, and I’m able to only use half of what’s recommended, which then of course lets it last a bit longer. Even at half, it’s amazing how little the sugar content is for such a creamy, chocolaty product!

Exactly what I wanted!! Organic, clean, added natural sugar, but not too much. Perfect amounts of everything. Absolutely Delicious.

I enjoy a nightly treat of a cup of non-dairy hot chocolate. I have been enjoying the non-dairy Swiss Miss. I saw this and figured that it would be richer and more enjoyable. I was so wrong. I made this with extra creamy oat milk. I couldn't wait to finish the cup and honestly I wish I had just dumped it. It was not good. The taste is a bitter and as much as I expect some bitterness with dark chocolate, I figured that it would be balanced here. It is not. It is a lingering bitterness that just did not leave the palate. Also, the product did not fully want to dissolve in the HOT milk. It mixed but not fully. Not the biggest of deals there but it was a factor. I really like the ease of hot water with the Swiss Miss. I had thought of trying this with hot water but I can only imagine it would be so much worse than it is with the milk. Sorry to say that this was a waste of money for me. Not sure if there is anything I can do with the rest of the product, but I highly doubt I will be making another cup of hot chocolate with it again. I hate leaving negative reviews so I am giving this three stars but honestly, I really think it only deserves one.
