Evemodel LSL04 5pcs Model Railway Lamppost Lamps Led Street Lgihts Yard OO/HO Scale 12V

I purchased 5 of these and destroyed 2 instantly by connecting direct to a 12v power supply. Then I saw the resistors, so I soldered that to the live cable and my remaining 3 posts worked brilliantly. Not knowing about this I wished a note could have been placed in the packaging. Lights are good value and throw a lot of light out but if you want less then reduce the voltage to dim the post. Good value despite my own error.

Overall these seem to be a nice set of yard lights, and they did at least come with instructions (albeit in broken English) which did emphasise that whilst these lights could take a power supply of 9-12v DC they operate on 3v so it is important to fit the resistors (supplied with the pack) otherwise the LEDs might blow (already been there with other yard lights!). They are not the most sturdy of lights, but you get what you pay for generally. They arrived extremely promptly through Amazon, pick up just near where I live

All five lights did work apart from one, which was my fault as I forgot to place the resister in line. Overall pleased with lights.
