Fun little keyboard.
This has been a fun little keyboard for our nine year old. It looks very small but for him is a good size to learn and play on. As a toy for a beginner who is expressing an interest in learning it feels like a good jumping in device: realistic enough to get some nice tunes, not too big or expensive if it is just a noisy toy occasionally. The demo songs and tunes are fun too. It is helping him get better at playing "Chopsticks" and keep him occupied for short bursts if nothing else.

Fine as a toy
I would say this would suit age 4-8; it's too small to be considered an actual instrument worthy of learning on; but would be a good indication of whether your child might actually be interested. Our 3 year old just makes a racket on it and our 7 year old finds it a little too small and of course you can't use it on a stand. Fine as a toy.
