Best Camera Hand Strap Out There!
The Spider hand strap is the most comfortable hand strap on the market. I have a cage on my Nikon Z6 and I was able to install the hand strap between the cage and camera body. No other hand strap on the market offers that method. The curvature of the strap fits my hand perfectly and is 100% secure. The strap is adjustable, but one improvement I would ask for on future models is to allow for it to be adjustable at the top of the strap in conjunction with the bottom of the strap. As is, it is only adjustable on the bottom. Other than that it is a fantastic camera hand strap and I highly recommend it.

I like it
I've been using the Kenko straps for probably ten years and like them, but they do wear pretty quickly. This one is more than twice the price but it'll probably outlast quite a few of the Kenko ones and it's a bit more comfortable than the Kenko's.

Perhaps convenient but for me awkward and uncomfortable
I’m not saying I don’t like it. I’m getting used to it. But it’s uncomfortable and bulky-ish and it really doesn’t fit well or it jus doesn’t seem “right”. When on camera the camera doesn’t sit straight and when packing it just doesn’t fit well in case. Almost too much bother to use it . . . I may or may not keep it.

Finally! A camera handstrap that works...
I'd been seeing ads for the Spider Holster for weeks in my instagram and facebook feeds and I've wanted a good handstrap for a number of years so I decided to try it. I had a couple of middling-to-poor experiences with other handstraps in years past, but I can definitely say that this Spider Holster is going to erase those memories for good. It's dead simple to install for most, but there are detailed instructions for a variety of installation scenarios so you've got options. I've used the Spider Holster now for a couple of months and I'm totally in love with it. The holster comes in a variety of styles and materials, but I wanted the basic black leather strap. The Spider Holster is durable, looks good and probably most important, it's comfortable, which is key for long periods holding a camera. The holster fits your hand so well that it's possible to relax my grip on the camera and let it 'hang' from my hand for short periods to give my hand a bit of a rest. There's a wrap-around strap that you can affix around your wrist that holds the holster even more securely in your hand to prevent you from accidentally dropping the camera. Totally a five-star purchase!

Replace every 2 yrs
Really like this product but after 3 yrs of use the strap the connects it to your camera body can crack and break.....while using my camera it broke and i was fortunate to catch the camera before into ground...I have since reordered an other.......JUST WANT TO MENTION.....my replacement hand strap I ordered there was a problem.....the 2 small Allen wrenches they set none of them fit the attachment screw used to secure the snap end of the strap.... Fortunately, I still had the Allen wrench from the first hand strap I ordered from them and they fit perfectly.

The Best Hand Straps
I have some arthritis in my hand, and long photo shoots (1-3 hours) handheld take their toll. I tried a couple hand straps before Spider Holster's solution. I have two of the original straps and bought the v2 strap for my mirrorless Canon. These are comfortable and strong. I don't have quite enough time with the v2 strap to say I prefer it or the original, but so far, it's going well. The S-shape of these straps differentiate them from others, make them more functional, and the camera just feels part of my hand when I pick it up. I've been using them for several years now, tens of thousands of photos taken, and I can't say enough good about them.

A bit tight but works on A5100
Screw a little tight for the A5100 -- didn't align perfectly with the A5100's metal hole -- but by bending the Spider adapter was able to get the screw through the metal hole.I've tried several hand straps, all priced lower than SpiderLight, but in the end always replaced them with the SpiderLight. It just looks sexier and a better fit because of the s-shape that avoids my forefinger on the shutter button for more flexibility. I have the SpiderLight on the A7, A6300, and now the A5100. (I also have the full-sized Spider-Pro handstrap on my DSLR.)(The SpiderPro Pin and the Spider Holster Black Widow on my belt also shift the weight of my gear from above [when using a neckstrap] to below my spine which hurts during long hikes.)

WAS great….until it wasn’t
Loved the first version and used it for YEARS but didn’t like the way it connected at one end because it made it difficult to add a strap if needed or wanted. So when I got a new mirrorless setup….I saw the hand strap had a second version and thought I’d give it a try. I have several Spider products and love them all…and loved this one too until my last two hour session when all of a sudden my camera dropped from my hand as I was about to change lens. If I hadn’t caught it, it would have hit the hard ground and who knows what damage I would have had on my camera or lens. I have no problem spending money on products that are high in quality but this one failed miserably. I urge you to search the reviews and see that others have had this exact same issue and theirs broke in the exact same place. Spider….you need to make a change in this product’s materials so we don’t lose faith. I need a new hand strap now and will be trying Peak Design instead! No plastic pieces holding my $6000 setup!

Would not fit as should be
Nikon z6ii. I have used plastic loop for mirrorless, but first clip would not stay “locked”. So it’s only on two.I little worried about it.Photo attached.
