I've used these to tidy wires leading into towel radiators. Both have repeatedly come unstuck, one in a rarely used bathroom, so damp environment unlikely to be the cause. Neither is heat the issue as towel rails not on. The cables are under a bit of tension, which the sticky pads can't cope with after a few weeks. Re-sticking works for a few more weeks....

Very easy to put on, I have had a couple that have come off again, but as long as there’s not too much pressure it will stick, otherwise it will keep coming off again
