I’ve now bought two of these swords, the light blue and the black. The light blue was the first purchase and it’s a perfect size for my 8 year old son. When my five year old broke his plastic Zelda sword I thought I’d order another of these as they seem to be good quality. He picked out the black one, which says it has the same measurements as the others. Imagine my surprise when it showed up and it’s HUGE!! As in, literally as big as my taller-than-average 5 year old. The quality is still good, but it’s so big he can barely lift it to play with it. He loves it and wants to keep it but I’m undecided if we will or not. If there was a guarantee I’d get one the same size as the blue I’d exchange it, but I’m nervous now that the sizes won’t be consistent. This size would be great for a grown-up costume, but not great for kids. It’s a shame, because for little boys that love the Zelda games these are some of the best swords we’ve had in terms of quality and the price isn’t bad.

This thing is insane. Very well made. Is this a toy or can I actually go into battle with this beast of a weapon?I mistakenly bought this for my 6 year old son, but there's no way he's ready for this kind of power. So I guess I'll just hang on to it and hope an intruder is foolish enough to enter my house.To be clear this thing is big and moderately heavy. If I put the tip of the sword on the floor then it's long weigh to go past my belly button and I'm 5'8". I wouldn't give this to a kid. Feels like it's more for larping or something.My only complaint is that it's too well made! How was this only $20??? Did I accidentally make my purchase on Amazon's dark web site?

I am more than happy with the black “foam” Legend of Zelda Master Sword(s) received from the wonderful folks at 1Sword. We wanted the black master sword and NO highway option. Approximately a year ago, we had purchased a blue master sword. The blue sword held up very well minus a few scratches and chipping from regular play. If a product can withstand regular use/family playtime, then it’s definitely worth the price to me. The swords are basically identical (minus color). Same detailed design, perfect length and very light weight.Shipping wasn’t as smooth due to internal issues with the postal service system. However, the customer service 1Sword provided was top-notch! All emails were quickly responded to and all questions thoroughly answered. They were willing to work with me to get a black master sword here; even at their expense. We got it! Good customer service makes all the difference when issues arise and this company has it down to a science (or maybe it’s just natural). The company EXCEEDED my expectations and made a typically frustrating situation an overall GREAT experience! Made a new loyal customer out of me.Thank you for the FANTASTIC service and the BEAUTIFUL master swords!(I'll attach pics when Amazon fixes whatever issue is keeping me from doing so.)

Ordered the blue sword thinking it was the smaller of the 2 advertised swords. Ended up getting the larger size of the two anyway. No way to pick which size you want and seems to be completely random no matter what color you order.

Honest Review:Pros - This is a beautiful sword. I purchased it to add to my LOZ collection and it is PERFECT! Although my boys absolutely fell in love with it, it is NOT an item for kids.It is pointy and already sharp so DO NOT let kids play with it.The detail is spot on. The weight is very accurate - Link makes it look easy. The colors are incredible. The scabbard and the strap are perfect; also beautiful.Cons - It is sturdy to hold but as I only purchased it for decoration, I am unsure if it'll will hold up against actual swordplay.

I used this for my Dark link costume. It has a great look and feel to it. I would constantly hit things with it but it can probably take a couple wacks to a few people for giggles. I can see it possibly breaking if you were constantly hitting people/things with it.My only gripe with it is the day I got it, it smelled like spray paint. After a couple months tho that scent went away.

Took a chance as I saw other customers had the same issue. I selected the product with the description that showed dimensions that would be the 31 inch sword. Well, sure enough the sword is 43 inches. Considering this was intended for my 6 year old, that's quite a difference in size...

Great for Zelda LARP. Sword is long and sturdy. It does have a fiberglass core.Only issue is the weight. The center balance is about half way up the blade so it gets tiring swinging about.We actually replaced the pomel with a weight which evened out the balance and my son Loves it
