FIVE star review (not FOUR)
The only reason I gave this product 4 stars is that, if you’re like me, you’ll skip all the phony paid 5-star reviews and look at the real reviews. I am actually really happy with these silicone stoppers. You never know what you’ll get when buying something like this, but it works perfectly with the 1/8” cording I use for making masks. I was worried that they would either slip or be too taught to easily adjust, but they are perfect. The silicone has a good grip that still adjusts easily, but doesn’t slip. I bought this type instead of the cylindrical type because I thought it would be more comfortable having a flat cord lock behind the ears. I can’t speak for the other kind, but I’ve worn a mask with this stopper all day and had no ear discomfort. My son has sensory issues, so I plan to use these for his masks. I also love the little hook-latch tools provided - it made pulling through cording through very easy. I couldn’t get the latch part to budge on one if the tools, but it’s perfectly usable. In fact, I didn’t even notice the tools had a latch and was just using it like a hook at first.

Great Asset to Homemade Mask Makers
I bought these for a friend who is currently making face masks for our community during the novel COVID pandemic. She loves them: they can be sewed on well with a sewing machine and the buckles allow for a greater demographic to be served. The straps are big enough to serve most adults. Other vendors on Amazon are selling straps that are too short for adults over 5 feet tall and do not mention it. I consider this set of straps here to be the go-to for all you making face masks at home. The one thing though that definitely was an issue was the crochet hooks. Hence the four stars. My friend is arthritic and trying to manipulate the hooks to thread the straps is not feasible. She didn't use them in fear she would snap them off. If you are nimble with your hands, then ignore this issue. In conclusion, these straps are great, so much so I may be reordering them again!

Game changer
I have been sewing masks for family and friends throughout the pandemic and elastic is preferred over ties but hard to find the right length. Not all lengths fit all people and after multiple washings, that seems to be a factor as well. These solve the problem!! I made the loops long (about 10” each side) and then put these on so everyone can adjust to their own comfort level. The 1/4” flat/braided elastic worked well (green mask), the 3/8” elastic was more difficult but I got it through (pink). The tool provided was ridiculous - the hook is way to small to be helpful. I gave up and just used a paper clip but that was hard to grip after a dozen or so times. So 4 stars due to the tool issue but definitely recommend and good value.

Very nice elastic cord adjusters. Extremely pleased with my purchase.
I bought this kit of 120 adjusters in the combo package of black and white and I'm extremely pleased with them. I have been making masks for family and friends for several months now and this is the one thing missing from my final product. Before having these silicone adjusters, I was just tying a knot in the loops, which is a pain in the a*s to take out and adjust for fit. After dealing with these knots for several months, I finally decided that it was worth putting in an order for some to try out. Well, the verdict's in. They work great. Although a few people complained that they don't hold tight enough to the elastic, I did not experience this at all. The elastic that I have been using is the standard ear loop mask elastic that they've been selling on Amazon for a while now and it's puffier (it's actually knit elastic with a hollow core), and slightly fuzzy, 1/4", so maybe that also helps the adjusters in gripping on. Anyway, I'm extremely happy with these adjusters and may have to buy more in the future.

Only works on small straps
The description says it works on all sizes including "5/8." Not 5/8 of an inch; that's for sure. I've got some masks that are about 5/8 of an inch and there is no way these teensy weensy stoppers are going to go on them. They seem decent otherwise (although the supplied hooks are quite flimsy) but I never would have purchased them if the description had properly excluded 5/8. I honestly thought these were larger than standard from the description, and was unfortunately misled.

Easily fits 1/4" elastic, in spite of looking too small.
These are great, and so easy to use! I was upset at first that the holes were not large enough for my 1/4" elastic, but it turned out to work just fine, when I decided to try to use it anyway on the off chance I could squeeze it through. These are actually perfect for 1/4" elastic, in spite of the appearance. I've not been using these for months, because I assumed they sent the wrong size, lol!! These are fantastic, and I am so pleased with how much better my masks are now.

Doesn't work for thicker elastics
It's a great concept and I was able to get it to work on 2 masks that I had bought that had relatively thin elastics. But for those with thicker elastic, or covered with fabric, they won't pull through, and one of the crochet hooks broke on my 3d elastic. Maybe some need to have bigger holes and/or a more heavy-duty crocket hook. But for the price, even having it work for a just couple of masks was worth it. I'll donate the rest.

SO difficult to attach, then they don't stay on.
I purchased these for my friend who has been making masks for me since the beginning of the pandemic. I help her sometimes with attaching these and these ones are just plain AWFUL. They are SO difficult to attach, even with the included tool, and they just don't stay attached once they are on. Incredibly frustrating to spend so much time struggling to get them on only for them to pop off during your first use of a mask. Not worth it, try another product.
