Dickies Men's Heavyweight Cushion Compression Work Crew Socks (3 & 6 Pairs)

I was really on the fence with getting some new socks to replace my Do*ckers- which lasted me MANY years. I was hesitant to purchase those again after reading some "they don't make them like they used to" reviews here, and knowing firsthand that even after YEARS, those Do*ckers shed black fuzz onto your feet after taking them off. I am size 13 shoe- sometimes a 14, and was skeptical on this whole new sizing chart for socks. (Tells you the last time I bought work socks, and just how good that previous brand lasted.) I spent a few hours over the course of a week agonizing and reading reviews about which sock to get, crossed my fingers, and ordered these Dickies. They are very comfortable, feel cushioned and fit perfectly. Stretch nice, I don't feel constricted and they do not slide down. Excellent! The only gripe is the fuzz left behind when taking them off. The first few washes I was still getting a lot of black fuzz on my feet. I have been turning them inside out when washing them and I can say that the fuzz factor is less and less each time. I am guessing so far they have been through the wash about 7-10 times. I like them so much, that in fear of not being able to find them a few years from now, I bought a total of 12 pairs. I would say that if you take a size 13 or 14 SHOE, do not hesitate to order these that are listed to fit a size 6-12 shoe. THIS was what held me back from ordering them, and it seems like a mistake. The construction is durable, the color has not started to fade, and I believe they will last me a good while. The price really is pretty decent for the quality. Even if they lasted me one year only, I would order more.

These socks are a bit snug on the calf. I stretched mine out over 2 liter soda bottles for a couple of hours and now they feel perfect. They just need to break in a bit. Plenty of room in the foot for a big foot. I'll be buying more.

These socks are much better than normal Hanes style socks. They are thicker and more durable and helped cushion my feet during the long days in an Amazon warehouse, walking 15 miles a day on concrete floors. I would definately recommend them for heavy work activities.That said these aren't winter socks, they aren't super plush or warm. I would appreciate some more cushion and durability for my work conditions, but at their price I really can't complain.For size, I would've liked them to be a bit smaller. When pulled tight to my feet, the heel pulls up to my ankle, and while I recognize they need to fit a wide range of feet (listed mens size 6-12) I'm a Men's size 10.5-11, and I can't imagine a size 12 person has feet that much longer than mine. So I have to wear them a bit loose on the foot to get the toes and heel to line up.That being said, the ankle tube is rather tight, as others have mentioned in their reviews, but I typically don't use tall socks anyhow, so I just fold the tubes down to half hight and they're tight but not any sort of problem.Overall, I think they're a great value for good durable working socks, but could be better in sizing. For more cushioning and durability I'm sure there are better socks which cost twice the price, but I find these to be acceptable at an affordable price. Good job, Dickies

These socks are terrific !!! I am older-6'5" tall, 190 lbs and getting ankle swelling ( varicose veins) by end of day -up and around all day. I am size 12 and these socks fit perfectly- relatively easy to put on, breathable with the cotton content, and comfortable with mild compression that significantly reduces ankle and lower leg swelling. They actually go above crew sock height- to mid /upper calf . I've tried others, too tight, size not as advertised, difficult to put on -take off- returned some etc. I have finally found a very good sock for my needs. You will like these socks - true to size and well made

Bought these for my son for work. He wears work boots and needs thicker socks. These are thick with enough cushion. Perfect for the Winter time.

I’m not a man but I wear men’s size 9 work boots. You’d think 6-12 would be perfect, but these are MASSIVE on me. The heel is all the way up over my ankle bones and stitching over the toe comes way back towards the middle of my foot. With all the reviews saying the larger size is too small I wondered if I was sent the right size, but the label said 6-12. Here’s my conspiracy theory: maybe it’s just all the same size sock with different labels?Shame they fit so poorly because I like the compression on the calf and they’ve held up well. I’m still using them, I just have to double up with a second pair of socks to keep them from bunching up and sliding around.

I've been going trough cotton socks very quickly. These socks are well made and have been holding up much better than cotton. Good quality, comfortable socks
