Delayed camera opening or no camera opening approx 15% of the time even with fully charged signal.Otherwise, great product and very inconspicuous

So far, so good. The wireless camera worked on a large RV, even transmitting the signal 30+ feet. It was super easy to set up too. We might replace it with a more permanent wired system, but this worked great for now.CONS:- the video signal did cut out sometimes, but seemed to work 95% of the time and always worked when we actually needed it.- I'd occasionally turn on the screen while cruising down the highway, but the wide angle camera is far, far too wide to use as a rear view mirror.- It seems like the camera could be easy to steal with only a couple screws securing it.- the maximum setting for the screen duration was 60 seconds. I wish it would stay on longer.- the location of the license plate on our vehicle was not centered, but off to one side. This made the colored parking guide lines on the screen worthless but there was no way to disable those lines.

The image quality was fine, and my initial tests had it working even when the screen and the camera (frame) were separated by 30 feet. When it came time to install it on my car, though, I found that the license plate frame covered a *lot* of my plate -- the county name was obscured and, most importantly, the expiration sticker was at least half-covered. That violates the laws in my state.Not wanting to attract the attention of law enforcement, I decided to refrain from using it and return the item. Too bad ... it did work well, but the physical properties ruled it out for me.

It's ok. The screen timeout ruins it and makes it almost useless. The monitor shuts off every 15, 30, with 60 secs being the max setting. Annoying af. The people buying these things clearly need help with backing and parking. The idea that they only need 15, 30 secs is laughable. It's annoying and a hassle to constantly having to tap the monitor to wake it up every 20 secs. Makes me question their confidence in their solar power, cuz it seems they are trying so hard to conserve the battery power which takes about 5 hrs to charge.I'm contemplating returning it just based on the screen timeout alone. So annoying. 3 mins shut off would have been fine. Seconds is a joke.

The monitor to the plate broke within two months. I decided to reach out and ask if the monitor could be replaced. They said that would be fine if I sent it back, which meant I’d be paying for shipping. I stressed that I just needed a monitor and not the plate but was asked to send it back. I was annoyed but prepared to comply. My boyfriend threw it away after I put it in a box. Normally I’d accept that it is his fault that he threw it away, but I just can’t get over that they weren’t going to help me at all when it only lasted two months. Do not buy this!

This is an amazing product. For those of you having problems with charging try charging it with a laptop or you cell phone charger for first charge. Then after that let the sun do it. That's what I did and it worked. My 2002 chevy silverado 1500 now has better back up camera than my 2020 chevy trax

Super simple install, great addition for a vehicle that doesn’t already have a camera

It works well. Wish it stayed on full time . Its solar powered .
