SugessSeagull 1963 ST1901 Venus 38mm Chronograph Sapphire, Display Back, 2 Straps BNIB

This is a beautiful double push military chronograph. Excellent value for money and a treasured addition to my collection. The calibre is beautifully displayed through the sapphire crystal on the back and being a manual wind, there is no rotor to obscure the movement as in an automatic. Very nicely finished watch and a little piece of history. Customer service is second to none and I was thoroughly impressed by Matt. I would definitely buy from this business again. The item arrived a week ahead of scheduled delivery window all the way from Australia.The packaging was excellent so the watch box and the watch itself arrived in mint condition.Seller attached a helpful note on how to treat the watch.The watch itself is brilliant. Pictures don’t give it justice. The blue coloured hands really pop in the light. The exhibition back showcases the movement beautifully.Watch feels light on the wrist with NATO strap, but the leather one makes it feel more substantial. Both straps match the watch nicely.All in all, I’m very happy with the service and the watch itself.

Really great watch and excellent value. Fast and easy service, arrived sooner than expected

As a watch enthusiast, I bought a number of these for the boys in my family. All arrived promptly to various addresses in UK and Ireland. Although the watches all worked well, we all didn’t like the nato or leather strap provided. The leather strap lug width was too big and needed 1mm trimmed off. Hence only a 4 star review. We all decided to change the strap, and I went with a black alligator leather strap. It made my watch a perfect “everyday office” watch and I get lots of comments especially as I’m Asian too. A Chinese watch for a Chinese man! Perfect.

I had been searching for this watch from a reputable supplier for a while. BurnsideChronoUK turned out to be just that. Living in the UK, I was a little dubious about ordering from Australia. It turns out I needn’t have been worried. The watch arrived in good time, ahead of the delivery slot, and in excellent condition. It is as described, with the sapphire glass display case. I cannot recommend this supplier enough. If you’re sat on the fence, I would just take the plunge. You will not be disappointed.
