Broadbent's Kentucky Bacon - Applewood Smoked (14 ounce)

I ordered three of these for Christmas gifts for family members. It is my fault for not reading details clearly, but the picture is misleading. You only get 1 pack of bacon for this price not 3. It’s more then twice as expansive then buying from the broadbent website. I have now paid $75 for only three packs of bacon. Super disappointed.

Broadbent bacon is just the best.

We do not care for the taste, nor the amount of fat that came from this bacon…

I love bacon, and especially applewood and have been cooking bacon for 60 years or more. I have never seen a bacon that cooks so smokey and I had big concerns that the smoke alarm would go off. I had to keep on turning down the burner to the lowest setting to prevent the smoke. It also immediately curled up and when it was finally cooked, it was tough and hard enough to hurt the inside of your mouth. Did not taste bad, but I could only eat about half of what I cooked. Works bacon ever!

If you want instant heart disease, sure - go ahead and eat this bacon. We found it so salty that it was inedible, which is too bad because there is a nice flavor behind all that salt. But ughhhh - we trashed it immediately.

This bacon is great. Well packaged, superb taste. Nice and thick. Well packaged. Hard to find product. Very satisfied.
