ColumbiaWomen's Autumn Park Down Jacket

First of all, I love Columbia outerwear and fleece -- I own several. I ordered this particular cream one to replace the 8 year old Old Navy cream puffer jacket that I spilled a caramel macchiato on and ruined. I received it today and tried it on -- the fit is perfect (I ordered a L -- I am 5'4, 160 lbs, 36D bust)...however, I went to take a look in my large powder room mirror and wondered why there were gray lines on the sleeves??? Turns out the filling is not distributed properly in the puffer channels and the gray lining is showing through the cream fabric. It almost appears that the filling comes in strips and it was placed in the wrong way -- like it should have been less at the inner sleeve seam and that's what you see on the outside. It looks a little strange and is not something I have ever encountered with Columbia items. I'm going to see if I can move things around, but I may return because I'm not sure I can fix it. I expect more attention to detail from this brand...overall, I'm kind of disappointed.EDIT: I requested a return and could not get a refund, only a replacement. Received the replacement next day and it's much better. The first one I was received was clearly defective. I still maintain that quality control needs to pay closer attention and Columbia needs to do something about lining showing through on their lighter colored items...like maybe make sure there is enough filling and not cut corners where it matters. Still a lovely and very flattering jacket.

I bought this for my wife. She loved the way it fit but after reading the reviews was not to sure it would keep her warm enough. Some reviews said yes some said no. What she did not like is that in the "Chalk" color, which is a light beige, the down feathers showed through the jacket making it look dirty and blotchy. I'm sure in a darker color this would not be an issue.So I gave it 4 stars - all in all in was nice.

This jacket is great! I live where it’s very cold and it works great! I gave it 4 stars because you do see the dark feathers under the chalk color jacket. But because it’s so warm, I really don’t care.

Comfy and warm—> perfect!!! I did get a large so my sweaters and heavier tops could fit under it too!
