Taigoehua Electric Fan Wiring Install Kit Complete Thermostat 50 Amp Relay 185° SBC BBC

I used it to run my electric fan on my 1955.1 series chevy V-8 truck. Love the part.

installed on my fire bird to turn the fan on automatically. The previous owner had the fan on a toggle switch and i wanted to have the fan turn on automatically so i didn't have to worry about forgetting to turn on the switch and risk overheating. 10/10 easy install with basic automotive electrical knowledge.

I rated this product poorly because the instruction sheet is a joke. Relay pin numbers not shown, wiring color not clearly identified on illustration schematic. You will need additional wire since the red power wire is too short unless you are mounting the Relay very close to the fan. My Relay is under the dash so it's a long way to the fan. Because I have wired many relays and understand the process, this was an easy install for me, but for the first timer, it's well take some figuring out on your part, don't count to much on their instruction sheet.

Looks like it is very well made. Quality wire and relay.It came complete with all parts needed to connect my electric cooling fan correctly.It also came with a very simple wiring diagram.

Dose what it’s supposed to easy install.

Everything is great, except the thermostat is not accurate. It does not kick on the fan until 208 degrees and then keeps it running until you turn off the motor, so the motor gets a little on the cool side (down to 130 degrees or so). I cross-checked it with a dash gauge and an infrared gun thermometer. I may have to buy another thermostat.

First time I ever dealt with a ground turning on a thermostat. Installed on my1993 D21 KA24E and it works very well. Just had to study the directions and take my time. Does work very well. I went to radio shack and got ,in addition, a manual ground switch. You know for when I get stuck at a traffic light before the thermostat has to work, or waiting at the pickup window at the dairy. Happy camper.
