Awesome shifter series
3.5 StarsOverall Rating ★★★★Plot ★★★★Humor ★★★Characters & Character Development ★★★Narration ★★★★Story: Just to recap, here are the characters - Kit, River, Caleb (nice twin), Austin (mean twin), Cole, Wesley, Vali. This book was good but I did not love it. Frankly, the characters annoyed me a bit. Kit is very bold and upfront about things for the most part but in this book she was so hesitant to talk about her relationship with the guys. After people keep getting hurt near Kit and she ran into people near death, I felt like Kit should have put the pieces together. Maybe this is all a ploy for her to change people. It wasn't just her, none of the guys figured it out either. Why River didn't let Kit heal him when he was injured was beyond me. He's the team leader and needs to be on top of his game and able to protect Kit.Austin is still a jerk. He continues to be one at every opportunity. He's always invading her space. He walks into bedrooms without permission, interrupts her with the rest of the guys, and always has to talk mess. If you don't like a person, just leave them be. At the party, his ex arrived and then he just let Kit go off on her own when she'd just healed someone and was weak. Then he has the nerve to say that she’s teased him since day one. I don’t like when someone blames the other person for their attraction for them. It’s not her fault he wanted her. The torture was a bit much for me. How much can a person take before they crack. How she could have had sex with multiple broker ribs I also don't really get. I feel like every time they think they have their stuff together, they failed. I'm not really sure how I'm feeling about this series. I'm not sure whether I want to know what happens next or not.Narration: Marnye Young, Matt Haynes - The narration was good. I liked the way it was a duet so the woman narrated all of the women parts and the guy did all the men's. I've only seen this a few times but I love it.

LOVE IT!!!
Aaaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwww, Pout, whine, pout March is soo far away!Honestly I haven’t loved an RH or series like this outside of Amy Sumida’s three series and it took me a while to come to love her second one the “Twilight Court” series, love the “godhunter” but it was soo dark at times, Kit’s messed up world is all sweetness and light compared, soo yeah I skimmed when our awesome Kit got in the trouble I unfortunately saw coming,it’s always painful to to see your h hurt but especially when she is as awesome is Kit is...Seriously I don’t often like my h’s that often, usually their too vain or too stupid or selfish or pigheaded or sadly even too often too much of a self absorbed TSTL idiot to barely tolerate to even finish the book at times or she might seem cool but is such a panty wetting doormat you just can’t respect her...But Kit ,Kit is the kinda heroine you dream about the type of heroine I want to write if I ever get my "stuff" together and do it ,if I’m honest ...She owns who she is and is pretty good at owning who she isn’t and is self aware and honest but not perfect ( because come on , perfection doesn’t exist, though for me this series is pretty damn close) I love that she’s learning and evolving ,just as the guys are as the all seem to be learning from their mistakes and set backs and Kit seems for the most part, for the most part I’d say to know she isn’t invincible and knows when to lean on others ...Though I say for the most part, I mean while Kit is pretty dam smart and rather kick ass, if I were here and I’d been thru 1/2 the study she’d suffered and survived I’d always at least one of my men at my side ...I mean come on, you can be a true bad a@@ all day but after being kidnapped and beaten and tortured even once ,much less multiple times once not far ,just supposedly within yelling range of my men and I’m kidnapped (last book) and taken to be sold to the highest bidder like a cow at auction ?You better believe I’m gonna have at least one person to have my back, you never know what others might be planning might be able to do to you...I could be a shapeshifting, elemental with super strength and the ability to teleport ( yeah, I’ve thought about it) an my enemies could still find away to get the jump on me, there shouldn’t be any shame in making sure your well protected at all times , I mean surely there’s a reason Kit has “chosen” /ended up with 6 guardians instead of the usual 3 right ?Honestly I love it all all the twists and turns and all the depth these stories have, while I’d love more to know more about all the guys and more about their backgrounds and back stories, I mean i know there is a lot there, all these characters they’ve seen and has happened ...But I love this series soo much Thank You Ms. James I just wish March wasn’t soo far away, I am soo very very eager for more...Ps, my birthday is in Feb ;)

These Books Just Get Better...and Hotter
Tate James what are you doing to me woman?! This book was my last read of 2017 and continues the Kit Davenport series with some serious drama. We have horrendous attacks, kidnappings, and suspected betrayal as Kit uncovers more information about who she is and where she comes from. Then there is her relationship with the guys, which just gets, well, hotter and more frustrating. She’s got the guys she’s attached to already, completely all-in with them. Then there’s poor Wes who doesn’t seem to have any luck when it comes to Kit, but she wants him…she wants him bad.My favourites though, Austin, moody, grumpy, full of attitude Austin. Yeah we get much more of him in this book and all I can do is thank Tate for that because he is just a pleasure to read, a real pleasure…I like him in case you missed that!My other favourite is, Vali, the bad boy mob boss dragon shifter who just has everything I look for in an alpha when I’m reading and although there wasn’t much of him in this book where he appeared was perfection. Finally, the ending! OMG! Tate James is masterful at her cliffhangers…I’m just dangling here…just friggin dangling.

A great series and worth reading!
My four rating is based on the series as a whole.I read these books a while ago and didn't leave a review, so this is a very general review of the while series.I enjoyed these books and found them easy to ready, a lot of the books I couldn't put down and had to keep reading! The characters are great and I love the intricacies of some of the relationships. I massively enjoyed the mystery of the storyline. Each book brings something more and moves the story on in ways you don't always expect.I would definitely recommend that you read these books

Loved it, as expected
I feel like I'd been waiting my whole life for this and it did not disappoint. I love Kit and I'm super pleased we got some Austin action finally! I don't know which twin I prefer but Caleb caused some interesting reactions from me throughout the book. I love Vali, he's really coming into his own and finally him and Cold are getting somewhere with their brotherly problems. As always can't wait for the next

Cant get enough.....
Well well well........ You have done it again!!! Read this in a day, and now I should be going to sleep but I think I will start on the one just because they are so good. Love the relationship that the FMC has with all the guys as well and watching them grow together and learn things together. Thank you for another great book 💜

but these books just keep getting better and better
I'm not sure how Tate James does it, but these books just keep getting better and better! All of the characters are getting more developed and well rounded, and even Austin is growing on me! Gripping storyline too, would give it more than 5 stars if I could.
