So happy these are finally growing. Great kit with lots of instructions on the seller’s website. I watched the YT video they have and followed the instructions to a ‘t’. Started the process on 12/05 and we finally had mushrooms growing on 08/07. In the video when the guy says to leave it in the box for a week, and if there is no mycelium growth put it back under your bed for another week - we had to do that three times! Then there was a faint whiff of white mould like growth.It went in the kitchen and it probably took another 2-3 weeks before they started growing. I had given up at this point, stopped spraying it twice daily as the X’s had started looking brown and dry… but lo and behold it suddenly started growing! And so fast! In the picture is 2 days worth of growth. Amazing! I was about to email the seller and ask for my free replacement kit (they offer one if yours doesn’t work out).So have patience! Don’t take it out of the box until you see white wisps, even if that means a month in the dark corner.

Followed video instructions re setting up in sterile environment.No mycelium after 16 days so going to try again after spraying package with fine mist of water

Was a Christmas present for family and they were amazed at the ease and the flavour.

Seems very difficult to understand. Ao hadto Purchase the spawn .seperate. . STILLL waiting for delivery. Not sure if I can manage to do this.Probably return them. Expensive as well.to hatd to Set up. Havent gotthe space it needs to grow

I was very disappointed with this kit, having bought it as a Christmas present. I've had a similar kit as a gift myself and thought this would be much the same. Mine was very simple to use, and simply stood on the kitchen window sill. This one was a lot more specialised. Unfortunately the kit needs to be used within 3 days, as it contains live spawn. Obviously, it wouldn't keep until Christmas, so I returned it. The kit also requires a constant high temperature to ensure growth. You can't use an airing cupboard, for eg. Perhaps it would work well if you were set up for mushroom cultivation, and had the appropriate equipment. I returned the kit as soon as I unpacked it. Imagine my horror to be sent the original kit a few days after Christmas, all squashed and battered and rewrapped in eBay packing. I had simply asked them to confirm that they had given me a refund. This is the worst example of customer service that I've encountered.

It is just great experience and delicious reward at the end :)
