The description says the material is stainless steel, it looks galvanized in the pictures. Is it really stainless?

In the description it says the steel has been galvanized to prevent rust.

Can they be used with a workbench table (used for woodworking) ?

I have used them on a heavily built 8'x2' workbench with 9"x3" top and a shelf underneath and I found them very good. Easy to install and adjust

Are the feet rubber or plastic? I want to use them on a wooden washing machine stand which is currently sliding across the floor due to vibration.

What is the distance between the screw holes? Can these be screwed into a vertical 2 x 4?

Hi, I measured one of the levelers I installed and the spacing was 1 5/8”. I did not install it on a vertical 2 x 4 but a sample 2 x 4 I had in the garage, measured 1 ½” so I think the spacing on the leveler would be too wide to directly install on the narrow side of a 2 x 4. I might suggest a backing plate of sorts to fasten to the 2 x 4 before installing the leveler on the backing plate or install on the wide dimension of the 2 x 4.
