I was leary to purchase this as it is ceramic and I thought for sure it would arrive in a hundred pieces, but the sender wrapped it nicely in bubble wrap and it got here safely and intact. This item has already proven itself for me as I am able to place pins or toothpicks into the holes to hold my items secure while I work on them. If using for soldering lift it on a couple of strips of cardboard or wood to allow better airflow, speeds the soldering and cooling process.
