Feels very strong, with a nice, long handle. Deep scoop and rounded shape that handles the rounded LitterGenie litter box well. Only drawback is that it’s a little slow to drain the loose litter, but I think that’s partly because the scoop is so deep. It is also pretty. BTW, there were NO STICKY LABELS, to remove, so I think they heard the other reviewers complaining about that.

This is a great litter scoop. This is the second one I've purchased, for an additional litter box I recently added to my household. Very sturdy plastic so it doesn't sag or bend. Rounded edges so that it doesn't scrape the box and can reach inside the box's rounded corners. Some people have complained that the slits are too small to sift efficiently but I have not found that to be the case. As a bonus the printed design is really cute.

I am impressed that it is so sturdy and has great spacing of the slits. It doesn't allow those little "bits" to fall through, yet it doesn't take forever to sift all of the clumping litter through. I have one cat who urinates too much from kidney disease and another with periodic diarrhea from intestinal illness. This scooper handles both well. They call it Jumbo, but I think it is a good size, not super big. It gets the job done faster than any other scooper I've used. I've ordered two more for the other litter boxes to replace the flimsy plastic one and the giant sturdy one that has too-wide slits. Only small complaint it that it isn't awesome for corners. (I use giant, deep containers that are intended for catering and such, not those little pet store pans. Cats like the space and they are cleaner.) Litter doesn't readily stick to this scooper, and it's easy to clean. Superior product!

So far, it's been pretty much all it was promised to be.I have been really impressed with how solid the scooper feels. There's absolutely no give in the handle, unlike the last ones I've bought locally at the big box stores, both of which broke. It feels very balanced in my hand which is something I was not expecting.The shovel has proven to be big enough to handle the "blocks of concrete" my cat, Stormy, leaves when she urinates. Those were the killers of my last two scoopers: the handles on both snapped while trying to dig those clumps out.I'm sure some of the improvement must be attributed to the new over-sized litter box I bought about the same time, though. It's 17"x 28" or something similar to replace the smaller box she's had since she was about 8 months old. She's 10 now & is a very long cat. In the smaller box she would pee right in the corner and the result was, in all seriousness, a brick. Now the box is long enough for her to have some room to squat, as it were.This scooper, though, *is* a vast improvement over ones I've had in the past. And it was actually less expensive than the flimsy ones I bought locally.My only complaint, and the reason for only 4 stars, is that the litter sifts soooo s-l-o-w-l-y through the shovel. Especially irritating since the smallest pieces of saturated litter still fall through. Strange being irritated by boredom brought on by something taking so long to NOT work completely.FYI, I use a blend Fresh Step & Tidy Cat just so you know the type of litter that's the issue. If you use something different, you might not have any problems.Other than that, I give it 2 thumbs up!

This scooper is awesome.It is big and very sturdy. I have very small hands but it's not too big to handle. The holes are perfect for my clumping litter. The clumps go in and the extra litter sifts out. I have a kitten so some of the "poop" is still pretty small and it does not sift out of the holes. So it's quite perfect. This makes cleaning easy!!

Nice and sturdy. Sifting slots are perfectly spaced. Rounded nicely for my oval-shaped litter box. The problem is that the scoop is too narrow and too deep. Thus LOTS of litter gets scooped, due to the depth (height) of the scoop, but the narrow width makes the sift-through time way too long. It seems to take forever to complete the job! A wider design with less depth would be perfect.

Absolutely love this extra large scoop! I have to admit, I ordered it because it was cute and "girly" (for my little princess, of course!) but it has beyond exceeded my expectations. I have another, pretty standard, litter scoop that just sits beside the litter box unused, as I always grab this one first. The larger size seems to allow me to get the dreaded job done much quicker, and I definitely appreciate that. It's not flimsy at all; it's very sturdy and strong, and I expect it will last for years. Highly recommend!

Best scoop ever! I've had the same one now for many years - it hasn't broken and I appreciate having the longer handle too. I wonder if they made another version of it with an extra long handle if it would be popular? As I'm getting older I think a longer handle would make it even easier to use, as I wouldn't have to bend down to scoop out of the litter box. (I taped a bamboo stick to the end of my handle as a test, it seems to work.)
