Poyet Motte Antibes 350GSM 100-Percent Wool Medium Weight Oversized Blanket, Machine Washable (Navy Blue, Twin Size)

This is probably one of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made on Amazon.A couple of things really bothered me about this blanket and about this company.QUALITYI can tell that this is recycled wool, which makes me think it's the lowest quality of wool out there.  It feels pretty coarse like it's been dyed over and over. The stitching on the tag was uneven and sloppy.SMELLThe smell when you open it is so terrible. It really is impossible to describe just how bad it is.I had to open the windows. It's been 24hrs and my whole house still reeks of this awful thing.  Moreover, the wool keep shedding and it s very thinNot a recommended product. I would not buy again.

I was leery of purchasing a wool blanket online as I prefer to feel items like this before purchasing. The price was significantly less than the name brand blankets and it wasn't made in China so I took a shot. Packaging isn’t fancy and blanket is on the lighter side but we are enjoying it so far. It is warm without being too hot- we do have a cotton blanket on as well since it is cold in the Northeast in the winter. We took off our down comforter as both were too warm together. Blanket is relatively soft for being 100% wool. Size is nice fits our king bed very nicely.

This is a very nice blanket! I researched king size wool blankets for weeks before this purchase, but really didn’t want to spend multiple hundreds on it. I also didn’t want a synthetic blanket as we find they are not breathable. We live in Wisconsin so we have all kinds of weather. We like to layer a wool with a cotton blanket and add or subtract according to the temperature. I initially ordered the 500 gram blanket which is a beautiful blanket but very heavy—perhaps good for sleeping in an unheated house! This one is a perfect weight and nice looking. It could stand to be a few inches longer on the sides but is plenty long in length. Like others, I find that this has a VERY SLIGHT odor (of petroleum?), but it doesn’t really bother us. I highly recommend this blanket!

I've had the pleasure of sleeping under this blanket for several weeks now and it is exactly what I'd hoped for. This is listed as medium weight but for me it is light enough to use for the cool nights here in NC. I sleep with the windows open and get hot easily but I have not gotten overheated once. In fact I often add a light weight wool throw for added warmth. I anticipate this blanket working perfectly by itself in the Spring and Fall. I find it to be super soft. This is not your daddy's wool army blanket! The stitching seems sturdy and nicely finished. I have loved wool for many years now. It has the widest comfort range of anything I have tried.

I want to return both blankets because they are falsely advertised as washable. After I washed them as directed, they shed extremely and shrank a full size. If they had recommended dry clean only, which they should have, I would not have brought them. Instead, their advertisement was misleading by stating that these wool blankets were washable when they were not. As such, I am in the process of returning them to Amazon for a refund on my account.

Not a good wool blanket. This blanket is in no way soft wool, but it is the most rough wool blanket I've come across.

I loved that they are light but they are too rough feeling for my skin/taste.

I am very satisfied with the beautiful soft wool blanket from France. It’s actually not rough or scratchy and is very luxurious for these cold nights in the 40’s. I just had rotator cuff surgery so I am using it for my lounge chair and it’s perfect!!! It’s very comforting during healing and these challenging times in our life right now.
