Apple MacBook Pro MF839LL/A 128GB Flash Storage - 8GB LPDDR3 - 13.3in with Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz (Renewed)

I love the product and although it is heavy but I knew while the purchase that the old models were not light weight so it was not a shock. The only issue is that when I watch Netflix or a YouTube video for a longtime then a flash sort of a thing appears often. It does not matter much to me cause it happens rarely that I watch a lot of time seeing videos. I am in academics and it works more than just fine for my purposes. The battery is not the best however it’s not bad at all either. With my academic work it stays for about 3/5 hours depending on what apps and number of tabs I am using but works well for me.I would have gone for a cheaper option but since I needed some minimum versions for my coding applications and this has not troubled yet.

Still a GREAT LAPTOP, arguably the best MacBook Pro 13” ever made, 2 or 3 iterations later! I have had mine for 3 months now and although I was a little disappointed that I got a no-brand MagSafe power brick instead of an Apple brand, it’s caused no problems for me. I have been using Logic Pro X a lot and it runs nice and smooth even with the haphazard way I use it, leaving muted unused tracks all over the place as I learn about things like track bouncing and experiment with every single effect and different audio formats (I feel bad sometimes like I am unnecessarily abusing the laptop, lol) and I haven’t frozen or crashed at all. I have used a few emulation programs for old Saturn, Super Famicom, PS and Dreemcast games that push the 2D sprite and parallax scrolling envelope and again I haven’t had any problems. Only thing I have experienced that has been an issue is the actual Mac OS and it’s limitations with regard to formats, programs that it supports and connectivity with outside developers but I have also been able to get around that by setting Virtual Machines up and GUID partitioning to use whatever other OS I need. This is also not a complaint about the hardware itself but rather the Mac OS software so should not be considered when it comes to the actual MacBook Pro 13”.You will want to upgrade to an NVME M2 SSD at least 256 GB or 512 GB right away, as the 128 GB SSD will fill up within 2-3 months of moderate use and the newer M2s will increase the OS loading speed more than anything else. Luckily you have your pick of great SSDs like the Samsung 970 Evo, etc that you can easily swap in with a $5 adapter, a screwdriver and no soldering (just search YouTube for “MB Pro 13 2015 SSD upgrade”)…The unique things and PROS about this MB Pro 13” are the older style KEYBOARD that doesn’t break like 2016-later model keyboards do, 2 USB 3 ports, an SD CARD R/W and a FULL SIZE HDMI PORT all built in. This is the last MB Pro 13 with any of those ports on board and the fact that you can swap SSD hard drives with no soldering and very little skill needed, all-in with the M2 you get a sexy little powerhouse for half the price of the newer model Pro 13”s (1/4 price of current gen)! The rest (CPU, onboard graphics, sound/speakers) make this laptop a must have that will likely only appreciate in value $$$!Two Thunderbolt 2/miniDisplayPorts are useful if you want to setup 2-3 Screens, but the CONS Are that you get NO ThunderBolt 3/USB-C ports and more and more adapters and devices require that connection these days, though with the USB 3 ports there are ways around it, complicated as they may be. You also CANNOT UPGRADE RAM unless you know how to de-solder the current ram and solder up new ram (accepts up to 16GB DDR-3 in 2X8GB formation) and setup the machine to accept the new ram, which seems a recipe to completely destroy the board/laptop without at least some Mac building & Mac hardware programming know-how, possibly even special equipment.MAKE SURE YOU GET THE MODEL WITH THE AMOUNT OF RAM YOU NEED BUILT IN & a CPU that will be sufficient for you and you won’t be disappointed with this awesome little 6 year old laptop! Don’t get the 4 GB model even if it will “work” for you “short-term”! I got the 8GB/i5 2.9Ghz/128GB and I already regret not paying another $100 for the 16GB ram model, but c’est la vie.Just buy this MacBook Pro 13” while you can, replace the SSD as soon as possible, enjoy it, keep it another 5-10 years and you will likely be able to triple your investment by reselling it assuming Apple stays on their current trajectory with their MB Pro Hardware releases!!!

So far I like everything about it -- this is my 1st Mac book so still learning the program - I have an I-phone but doing things on the MAC still seem so different I don't dislike anything about it

Si deseas aprender a utilizar MacOS y no quieres gastar mucho dinero, el MacBook Pro 2015 es una opción para saber si te adaptas al sistema operativo. Pero ojo no todo es color de rosa.Con respecto al envió puedo decir que llegó de E.E.UU ha Colombia con un día de retraso por culpa de proveedor de entregas en mi país. El producto llegó en una caja genérica de color blanco pero bien empacada. En la caja se encontraba el computador, el cargador original y una tarjeta, siguiendo algunas recomendaciones que miré en internet acerca de los productos refabricados me dispuse a encender el equipo, probé todos los puertos disponibles y por último revisé el cargador. ¡Todo funcionaba bien!.En temas de hardware, el equipo tiene un rayón visible pero no presenta aboyaduras en su superficie de aluminio, su teclado y pantalla estaban impecables y la batería llegó con 74 de 1000 ciclos de carga lo que me hace pensar que la cambiaron recientemente y eso siempre es una buena noticia.Con respecto al software, el equipo vino con MacOS Monterey pero el sistema no me dejó ingresar a mi cuenta de iCloud y tuve que restablecer el equipo con la partición original (MacOS Yosemite). Sin embargo conseguí configurarla e instalar de nuevo el sistema para así poder instalar las aplicaciones desde la App Store.A los quince días que recibí el equipo comenzó a salirle una manchas (Staingate); efectivamente corresponde a un problema de fabrica en los modelos Retina del año 2015 a 2017. Estoy conforme con este equipo pese a todos estos inconvenientes pero de ningún modo lo recomendaría por el precio que lo ofrecen, inclusive pagar más de 260 dólares no es rentable revisando sus especificaciones. Soy docente y necesito un equipo ligero, que tenga una batería que me dure toda la jornada de trabajo, con un buen teclado retroiluminado y poder utilizar las apps de MS Office y navegadores básicos, en ese aspecto el Macbook Pro es muy eficiente pero en 2022 128gb de almacenamiento es muy poco y la RAM de 8gb para un uso domestico esta bien pero se quedará obsoleta. Si usted utiliza el equipo para este tipo de cosas el equipo responderá adecuadamente pero sí espera utilizarlo entre 1 y 3 años le recomiendo que lo piense muy bien.

I am really upset because this was a Christmas gift for my daughter. when I opened the MacBook it worked however the charger was not working when she went to plug it up. Obviously she was disappointed I’ve reached out to the seller concerning this issue and I have not heard back. Not sure I would recommend!

El producto llego en perfectas condiciones tanto de empaque como en estetica, sin imperfecciones visibles y con lo que incluye en la descripcion.La macbook pro trabaja perfectamente. Muy contento con la compra.

Tenía muchas dudas sobre comprar esta Macbook, pero en cuanto bajó de precio, aproveché para comprarla, no me arrepiento de nada.-Venía con más de 85% de vida de batería y le dura un aproximado de 5 a 6 horas la batería con una sola carga. Es posible que la batería se haya cambiando ya que tenía sólo 150 ciclos.-Físicamente con unas ligeras rayas en los bordes pero que si no te pones a buscarle desperfectos la ves 10/10, muy cuidada, repito unos ligeros rayones pero no afecta en nada-Rendimiento, va perfecto no se traba, aunque siento que el disco si tuvo más uso, ya que en comparación a reseñas, tarda unos segundos más en abrir las apps, pero mi plan es hacerle cambio de SSD por uno más rápido y de 1TB, ya que los 128GB que vienen de fábrica son muy pocos.-El único desperfecto que encontré es que la tecla de la coma ( , ) como que a veces se atora y hace un ruido más pronunciado, pero la tecla funciona perfectamente así que no tengo problema con eso.

el producto me llegó en medos de 5 días... el equipo es bueno, es una MacBook Pro Early 2015 pedía la versión de 8gb y 128gb SSD y como programador de paginas web me funciona bastante bien.se las recomiendo, creo que el precio es justo

Viene con una calcamonía o una película del color silver gray de la Macbook que cubre toda la parte de la base, supongo que porque esta viene rayada en la superficie original. Por lo demás el exterior y la parte frontal luce bien se ve bien , en esa parte la estética es 10/10. Funcional, es tal cual dice la descripción, bonita y los ciclos de batería están dentro de lo aceptable, empiezo a notar que se descarga mas rápido, pero incluye cargador (no original) pero ayuda a cumplir con la función. es una Macbook Pro que es actualizadle a la ultima versión del MacOS y aun corre rápidamente.

La mac llegó en excelentes condiciones. Llevo usándola poco más de un mes y hasta ahora estoy satisfecho con la compra.Peeero.... nada es perfecto; el único detalle es la batería que ya viene con 866 ciclos, es decir, prácticamente ya cumplió su tiempo de vida y se requiere cambiar, por lo que habrá que invertir unos 1500 a 2000 pesos más en conseguir una nueva batería. Una vez hecho eso, quedará como nueva.Es del año 2015 y llegó con Mac OS Catalina, hice el upgrade a Mojave y funciona perfectamente, no se atora, no se siente lenta ni nada por el estilo.4 de 5 estrellas (por la batería).
