The media could not be loaded.  I initially thought it was too big, but after playing with it for a few days, I love the sound of this instrument so much and actually appreciate the size. I also bought a 10” Aklot, 11 note for comparison (thought the size might feel better). The sound of this drum out performed the Aklot, in my opinion. Plus the design is so much nicer (the tongues are in the shape of a lotus flower).

I am not a musician and do not buy it to become one. But when playing it, you feel like you are, it sounds beautiful. We have it standing on a shelf in the living room and every day someone from the family has a go filling the room with deep dong like melodies. I got it used so £20 cheaper and could not be happier.

Bought this for a baby niece who loves music and making noise, and this creates a lovely sound that won’t irritate her parents like a loud plastic toy! It’s also a beautiful object that everyone enjoys and would have been a great gift for anyone. Before I gave it away, I was very tempted to keep it myself, and had a lot of fun learning “Happy Birthday” from the little song book (although either the songbook or the tuning was a little out, and I had to work out some of the incorrect notes myself)

really lovely drum.havent had time to practice properly but it sounds really nice.It is a quality instrument and i think its something that you can pick up and put down for a long time to come.It will compliment my other percussion instruments with its relaxing sounding tones.
