Dapco Primer Kit Button Type 11589 10161

I used this to replace a plunger style primer, I was tired of replacing the plungers yearly. That being said, when this fails I will go back to the plunger and gladly replace it every year. It does work, just not very well, it takes about twenty pumps just to get fuel to the primer, if there is an internal check valve mine doesn't work. What took me perhaps two plunges ( one to prime, one to spray fuel) now takes at least thirty pumps of this P.O.S. I feel like I am trying to fill a tractor tire with a bicycle pump. This may work well for small engines. It does seem to be well made, I would not buy again.

Got this bulb type to replace a plunger type that lasts a year then leaks.Made well and 3 or 4 squirts start a 75 hp Rotax.I also put one on a 1200 Yamaha 2 stroke.Built heavy. Hope the rubber will last. Recommended.

Installed it on my WaveBlaster 2, works great. Much better than the pump type primer since they tend to seize up from salt water.

I kept it and it worked out just fine.

Did the job, great for riding lawn tractor.
