Just like any leather product there is a break in period where the leather stretches to fit the wearer. I love these lederhosen! They have become my go to festival attire. I would say that if you think you can stand them being a little tight for a couple of wears, go with the size you normally wear in jeans because they will stretch as they break in. I returned the ones that were a little tight for fear I couldn't move in them, but I wish I'd have kept them and just broke them in properly. These lederhosen are top quality thick heavy leather, and the belt and buckle (buckle kind of peeling from wear) set fit the look and design perfectly.

Very good fit, ordered a 52EU and have a 34” waist. The detailing on the lederhosen is of high quality and was quite comfortable. These are priced very low in comparison to other shops, but quality was certainly not sacrificed. Thanks again!

but I can't.Fit: I'm about as average (body shape and size) as they come, but the thighs on these is too narrow while the waist is just a tad on the big size. The waist I could live with (oh, for reference I ordered the 52 and my waist right at my belly button is 38 inches) but the thighs are just too tight (I know leather gives but while sitting down, I swear my feet started to go numb from lack of blood flow!). One caveat: I cycle so my thighs might be slightly bigger than average (22 inches around right in the middle of the thigh).Quality: I have a pair of knee length lederhosen from another brand. Relative to those, these feel a little cheap (the leather feels "thinner" and definitely stiffer) and some of the edges weren't finished as nice (vertical seam down by the knee where they button) BUT overall I thought they were of decent quality. (I liked the double loops on the inside for hanging the lederhosen for storage.)Style: I liked the distressed look of them. And I really liked the belt.Bottom Line: If the thighs weren't so tight, I'd really like them.

I wanted to get lederhosen for Oktoberfest in Munich, and I wanted something good quality but not necessarily hundreds of Euros. These are the perfect compromise if you're uncertain whether you'll ever wear them again. These look authentic and they're pretty comfortable. At the same time, they could possibly pass for cool shorts when you're going out somewhere. I'm a big guy and I need a big waistline. Anyone who has seriously shopped for lederhosen know they often top out well under any kind of extended sizes. I was very pleased to find these in size European 66, which corresponds to a US 50 waist size. They did tend to fall down at first until I broke them in a bit. As a big guy I tend to wear my pants loose and not cinch up so much around the ole' Buddha, but that does not work with these lederhosen. They are adjustable in the back with a leather thong to cinch up a V-shaped cut in the waistband. I pulled this as tight as it would go, and I have the belt on the tightest size. After breaking them in a bit, they seem to ride better, and I only have to pull them up every so often. I'll have to see if they loosen up like everyone says lederhosen eventually do. On the bright side, I'll probably expand in Munich. The one regret is I did not order a pair with suspenders. The hosen are a cool unique color, but this will be hard to match to add suspenders later. Among the Bavarian locals I think the belted lederhosen are in vogue anyway, so I'll maybe just live with it. As an older guy I could go uber traditional with the special shoes, hat, vest, suspenders, jacket, but that's also uber expensive. Going the route with the belted hosen I can mix/match with hiking boots, white shirt, maybe buy a vest and hat, and I have a fair chance of looking a bit local. There are buttons on the hosen to add suspenders if desired. The hosen are lined, single-stitched (saves cost), buttons together on the inside like a pair of button-fly pants, and then the bib buttons to the waist over that. The belt can be removed. It is simple, with just a peened nib on the buckle that fits through the holes on the belt. The color is like a cup of coffee with cream, a touch darker than an average cardboard box, maybe about like a worn penny. Not a match with the standard brown bundeshosen. One worry was while breaking them in there was some stretching and stress when I sat down. I heard some ripping sounds, but there is no visible damage. Probably some of the threads got pulled somewhere, possibly under the lining. Be careful during the break-in period. I would not count on slapping these on for the first time and squeezing right onto the bench at the beer hall. I'm practicing a bit at home in my easy chair with liters of beer and Netflix.

Klar ist die Stickerei bläulich-lila, aber viel besser als das klingen mag, das Teil ist wirklich schön. Ich hab erstmal gar auch kein Problem mit Geruch, nur mit der Enge, vermutich gibt sich das beim Tragen, wünschte aber trotzdem, eine Nummer größer genommen zu haben. Aber egal wie, völlig unverständilich sind mir harte Plastikknöpfe auf der Innenseite des Bundes, links und rechts der Hüfte!! Da hat man keine Lust mehr, die Hose noch einzutragen! Würd sie echt gern gegen eine Größe M eintauschen!

Schnitt, Qualität wirklich sehr gut....wie in der Beschreibung. Würde aber die Hose eher 1 Nummer größer kaufen.

Qualitativ ist die Hose nicht schlecht, allerdings ist sie mir im beschädigten Zustand geliefert wurden und damit für den schnellen Einsatz nicht zu gebrauchen.
