King Oscar Royal Selection Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Red Bell Pepper, Herbs & Hot Chili, 3.75-Ounce Cans (Pack of 10)

These have become a staple in my sardine rotation. They are delicious and the olive oil they are packed in is rich and flavorful. The flavorings they add are mellow but a nice touch and help to provide some variety on a day to day basis.

I'm OK with sardines... I eat them because they're good for me. I have a few that I prefer, but upon opening this can I was first mesmerized by the smell (the gentle smell of the herbs was intoxicating), and the taste was amazing. Perfectly seasoned, great flavor, and absolutely delicious. Definitely ordering more, probably on repeat!

Definitely got good flavor. Maybe a little pricey but tolerable.

The results are in, these sardines are amazing. Like i was super impressed. I wish they were spicey but they were subtle. After thinking about the flavors presented i welcomed the subtle flavor and appreciate the craftmanship and the obvious care they took in the packaging of the fish and the box. king oscar is the peoples brand.

The good news is that these are really good sardines. Small and double layer, although presentation is haphazard. But unlike a lot of double layer sardines these are not all beat up --- very pristine and individually attractive. Flavor and texture is very good, no off taste, and good texture. But even with the extra ingredients, they pretty much just taste like sardines in olive oil. Result is they are more expensive than they should be. If they just canned them in the olive oil and dropped the price, they would be an absolute winner.
