easy to mount on your mic stand. must have if you do a lot of playing and recording with a headset on. does the job its supposed to do and does it well.

I bought this to hang something quite a bit lighter than headphones -- I hang my smartwatch on it while it is charging.It seemed like it would work great -- I clamped it onto the microphone stand and it seemed sturdy. A few days later though, I accidentally grazed the holder after hanging the watch on it and I heard a snap and the holder fell. The piece on the end of the screw which applies pressure against the pole to create the vice to hold it in place, had snapped in two. It turns out to be just a cheap bit of plastic -- hardly something which you would expect to hold up to vice pressure.I am still using it, which is why this is a two-star review rather than one-star -- I just used the screw itself to apply pressure on the pole. I'm sure it is scratching up the pole (but I don't care) and I suspect that if I hung heavy headphones on it, it would just slide down the pole, but it is working for me. I can't recommend it however. Look for something sturdier.

Sturdy enough for the intended purpose. No disappointments, for a change.

Liked Everything..... now looking for one of these that holds three sets of phones.... I'm looking to store a foot pedal off the ground in my home studio when it's not in use !

Simple and effective. I should have bought a few more! It keeps musicians from setting studio headphones on the floor to be stepped on by mistake.

Doesn't work with PA stands (I have an IsoVox vocal booth on a PA stand). But works great for what it's designed for. Simple and good quality.

Tightened until it was snug and left it with nothing on it. Came back next day and it was lying on the floor in pieces. It should be strong enough to be tightened snugly so it doesn't sag when it is used.

I took a chance on this headphone holder and am glad I did. I liked the sleeker form factor compared to some of the holders on Amazon as I wanted the headphones to easily slip on and off the device. It clamps securely on my mic stand and looks good too. No more headphones plummeting to their untimely death due to a clumsy client!

Save your money, the plastic bit broke off. It's a brittle piece of junk.
