DublinVenturer Rs Boots III

Okay, so I returned these boots because they were MASSIVE, BUT I am going to reorder a few sizes down because I really did like the look and feel of these boots. It’s between these and the Venturer zip front iii, but I have a feeling the others will be just as big when they get here and I’ll have to send those back too. They feel more like a suede than a leather but definitely not cheap feeling. I saw the reviews that said so and I chose to give it a shot. I wear a size 8 women’s in Ariat Terrains and figured an 8 would be okay in these. They were at least two sizes too big. My mom put them on and she wears a 9 and they were way too big on her as well. The tag on the box and the tongue of the boot says a US 8 but I noticed a stamp on the inside foot of the boot that has a 9 (there’s no way it’s a 6, right?). So the sizing is weird, but first impression says I think I’ll like these boots much more when they fit. No idea about the durability yet, my boots get very abused when I ride so we will see when the others come.

I have wide feet, high arches, and a narrow heel. I wish I could have worn these really nice boots.I was able to pull them on, which is usually my first challenge. The toe box was wide enough, which is usually an absolute fail for me. The boots hit the outer front of my heels in an uncomfortable spot, and it couldn't be solved by using an insert, because then I couldn't get my foot in.I'm going to bet most people would be happy with the boots.

These boots are comfortable, but run big. I wear a 9, but could have used an 8.5. I did keep them, and do several miles of daily walking around the farm in them. The leather is soft, and they are easy to pull on. I'd get them again -- in a smaller size.

these are beautiful boots and are comfortable but they are giant?!? I am a size 8 in every shoe and when I put these on there is about an inch and a half of room in the toe! It looked like I was clomping around in my husbands boots! I want to re-order but I wouldn’t even know what size to get!

So highly disappointed. I've literally had these boots for 12 days. I have worn them maybe 6 of those 12 days and they are already falling apart. I work in a barn as a stable hand and was hoping these would be my new favorite work boot. What a disappointment coming from a brand like Dublin.

I haven’t actually worn them yet, but I can say the size I picked was excellent! I’m normally a size 9. In the Dublin River boots, I ordered a size 10 which fit perfectly. For these venturer boots, I read they are a size smaller than your normal, or 2 sizes smaller than the rivers. I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly when I tried them on! I was worried about the discrepancy in sizing but if you order the way I did, they should fit great!

After seeing others comments about sizing down, I found that to be correct. I ordered a size smaller than what I usually wear for a boot. A great boot and very lightweight. No suffering a breaking in. Quiet and comfortable. I wear them to my lessons. Stylish enough for outdoor fashion and pumpkin patches.
