Great Cooling Soap but Lacking Rosemary
This is a great shaving soap. It lathers very quickly and goes on thick to protect the skin while shaving. There is a fairly strong cooling sensation but it's not too strong. The only thing disappointing about this soap is that I couldn't detect any Rosemary. This soap is basically identical to Mama Bear's Awakenings Mentholated Shaving Soap which I already use. In fact, I can't tell the difference between the two which is unfortunate because I think the Rosemary would have been a nice touch. It's still a great soap however and if you like cooling menthol, you'll love this soap.Tip: Drop this puck into a large coffee mug or small bowl and put it in the microwave for one minute. It will melt into a liquid and conform perfectly to its new container. Give it enough time to dry and voilà! It will bond securely ensuring no spinning while lathering.

This had been my favorite shaving soap. Nice, clean scent and easy, slick lather. If you have had skin irritation from tallow or lanolin based soaps this glycerine soap is fantastic.Right now my favorite soap is Mama Bear's Siberian Fir. An even better scent to wake you up in the morning.
