InSinkErator QCB-AM Quiet Sink Collar for Evolution Series

I was dreading having to disconnect my garbage disposal to replace the little rubber part of the garbage disposal drain. This is a great solution. I cut off the few rubber flaps that were still on and slipped this down into the drain hole. It fit perfectly, works great, and was an easy fix. I highly recommend you use this easy fix.

Fit perfectly in my sink over an InSinkErator ProSS 333. The product I received was slightly different than the one pictured (see my customer picture of what I received). But this product was actually shaped more like the baffle it was replacing, so it was not a problem for me. The original baffle was a combined gasket/baffle like the InSinkErator SMG-00 Standard Mounting Gasket, Rubber, Black . I did not realize it was all one piece and accidentally tore the original baffle when I tried to pull it out for cleaning. This product slips right into the sink flange (tube leading down from the sink itself) and the grooved edge fits securely with the lower rim of the flange. Because it fits on the flange rim, it sits a little higher in the flange tube than the original, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. I was worried that the stiffness of the material would inhibit water and debris flow through it, but it's actually quite pliable and opens up easily under the weight of water, etc. This product can be installed over the original baffle, but that severely limits water flow. I simply cut the torn baffle away from the gasket with a sharp knife and then installed this product. This product is a little more expensive than buying the exact original product, but this can be installed without having to unmount the InSinkErator. That was worth the extra $5 to me!

I bought this for our insinkerator the one that was on there just didn't fit, right, it wasn't tight fitting would work.Okay, the rubber flaps in it were very thin, so I bought this replacement one and it works great.

I bought this garbage disposal splash guard to replace the old one that was worn out and cracked. It was easy to install and fit perfectly on my sink. It does a great job of preventing food waste from splashing out of the disposal and making a mess. It is also easy to remove and clean when needed. The noise level is not too bad, and it does not interfere with the operation of the disposal. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who needs a new splash guard.

This fit my InSinkErator Brand garbage disposer perfectly. Since it's the same brand, I expected it to fit. I bought an off-brand gasket at my local hardware store, that not only didn't fit, but seemed difficult to install (it required taking the garbage disposer OFF!) I'll return that one. Then I looked for the brand, which was more expensive on InSinkErator's site...not by much, but in typical Amazon style, I managed to save a dollar or two. I'd rather buy locally, but in this case, I could not. The only negative about this one, is that it seems like it's 'soft' or kind of flimsy. Maybe it's a different material or combo of materials in these new ones, I don't know. I just wish it seemed more substantial, in the event something inadvertently flew out of my disposer. Laugh if you want...but that just happened to a friend of mine and she sustained an eye injury. The noise factor isn't relevant to my review, since the ISE that I purchased is the quietest one that they sell. So I don't know if that's an issue with this gasket or not. I just got this a few days ago, but so far, it seems to do the job for which I purchased it.

This is such an improvement over the one I had. I hated how stiff my previous one was. I had to push every bit of food through it but this one is so supple the food falls through on its own the way it should. Love it.

Fits my In-Sink-Erator perfectly ! I cut the old one out with a razor blade (I read to do that in a review) and popped the new one in.. Easy and it fits tightly... you would think it was the original... Here's a picture. I suspect all in-sink-erator drains are the same but I don't know for sure.. I took a chance and the fit is perfect.

In some ways it’s better than the original kitchen-aid splash guard it replaced - bits of food fall more easily through it. But it’s noticeably thinner and lighter material than the original, so I’m concerned about the longevity and durability.

I wasn't sure it was going to fit as it didn't look EXACTLY the same, my manual says my baffle was an 'Evolotion models, Model 65', but it fits my Insinkerator perfectly (I bought the Insinkerator in UK in 2009). Arrived on time, easy to fit, Its slightly softer material which is an improvement in both noise reduction and ease of pushing things through.

Works perfectly.. as expected. Good quality
