I purchased this primarily to protect my face from breaking out after using an epilator which I would imagine is similar to threading the face. I haven't worn it enough to notice any face slimming, but it does have a nice taught feeling to it without making you feel uncomfortable & the material leaves my face feeling soft & supple! It does what I need it to do, which is to form a barrier for my skin.

The effect that has thin face really, used a few days to feel facial ministry has apparent change.Very happy.

I've tried other versions of these chin-lifting straps and this one is my go-to because I can adjust the tightness and more importantly, it stays on my head because of its design - it goes on top of and around the back of my head. The over-the-ear versions hurt my ears and others slide off easily. I use this in conjunction with my rejuvenating facial treatments (micro-needling, RF, etc) and I feel it works as intended to reduce the gravitational strain on my skin while the treatments do the actual tightening. I'm not sure how it would function as a stand-alone product, but I'm very happy when using it to aid my other treatments. Overtightening and wearing it for too long gave me a headache or feeling of pressure inside my head, but proper use worked well for me.
