I normally use a tarp - lay it out and rake the leaves onto it before the wind kicks up a corner. Then I drag the tarp down the yard, onto the driveway, and dump it down the hill. It's a pain to lay out the tarp, fold it up afterward, and try to shake leaves off without tumbling down the hill. These bags are much easier as they accommodate a 30-inch rake (scoop and drop). The double handles make it easy to sling over your shoulder. The bottom handle helps you heave-ho the entire contents to its desired location. My son can mule these things down the hill as I fill them up with mountains of Autumn goodness. They fold up for easy storage. Did I mention they are festive Christmas-green? My only worry is that my son may try to drag them down the driveway rather than use the lift-and-carry method (which will rip out the bottom of the bag).

Great for my recycling only wish the bottom of the bags were stronger (I am small and have to drag them a lot).
