Easy install, does what it’s supposed to
Easy to install, hides wires so you can’t see them under desk. Nothing really bad to say

Easy To Install - Does The Job
It's a good system for managing your cables because it's simple. You simply stuff your power supply and accompanying wires into the cradle. The installation is simple. I just directly screwed it into the bottom of my karlby counter top. Place it near the back so it isn't in the middle of your desk which will make it more visible and could possibly interfere with your legs.*Do note.. Large surge protectors and power strips will not fit well inside the cradle. I was barely able to get my large insignia surge protector inside it. I am only able to use 4 of the 8 outlets because I have it at an angle. I did run an additional smaller power strip from the surge protector so I am able to have more outlets. When standing the wires are not visible. If you want a more cleaner aesthetic look perhaps a runway would be better. I chose this because I did want to go through the trouble of installing a runway and because it is forgiving if you need to move stuff around. All in all it is a great cable management system.

Simple to install cable management solution.
This is technically for desks, but I used it to tidy up the cables hanging down behind the TV stand in my gaming room/spare bedroom. It was really easy to install since the wire "tray" comes separated from the hanging brackets. What I did was assemble it, held it where I liked it, marked the holes for the screws with a marker, then took it apart again. Then I could install the brackets one at a time then hang the tray on the brackets. It made a huge difference as you can see in my photos. Bonus is that it also makes a perfect place for me to sit the Philips Hue bar light I had down there up off the floor and out of sight, and the light distributes better that way too. Also, in a rare feat, this Ikea item was actually the exact same price with free Prime shipping as it would have been to have sent from Ikea themselves including shipping, which would have taken longer. (Closest brick-and-mortar Ikea is more than 2 hours away from me 😭)

Cable Tray - Nice, Gets the Job Done
I recently got a sit-stand desk and to do something about cable management. This unit makes it look nice and clean. The basket has a good design to help grab/hold cables to help in tucking them away. The size is also nice, although I wish it was a few inches longer for the number of cables I have. If you have more than would fill up a surge protector (or have a lot of power "bricks") I'd consider two if you have the room. I did like others and zip-tied the surge protector to the underside of the basket, which worked wonderfully.Another great feature for those with sit-stand desks and a clamp mount VESA monitor pole, as I do, this is one of the few options that is large enough to handle a good deal of cable while not getting in the way of the clamp for the mount -- I had to shop around to find one that would work with my setup in this case. Now instead of a tangled mess of my workspace looks nice and clean. Before/after pic, it's amazing what a difference it makes. Definitely would recommend.

Does it's job
I recommend zip-tying the surge protector to the front of the actual basket.

For dorm room …
Son liked it for his dorm room. He hasn’t complained about it. Just from the looks it seems to be doing the job.

Sturdy and easy install.
The only thing i wish would have been different is the length. It was a bit too long to fit between one end of my desk and a set of drawers. It wasn’t too bad to cut it with a hacksaw though. All-in-All it seems to be sturdy. The way the frame attaches to the hangers is very versatile. You can put the hangers just about anywhere, and then you can shift the frame forward or back, left and right.I also put mine in in a way that probably puts the most strain on it, but it shows no sign of slipping or breaking. I had to put the t shaped hangers parallel to the frame because of my desk, but it would probably be even stronger if I could hang it properly (again, my desk is weird).

worked for me
I mounted this under a matching IKEA desk and secured a surge protector to the bottom using zip ties (see picture). I didn't set out to do it that way, but it actually worked out very well -- plenty of room for cords while still being easy to move things around if needed. I flipped the desk over to make installation easy. Installation took ~10 minutes, configuring/measuring cords ~15 minutes.Considerations:-- I did attempt to put the surge protector on top of the rack, however it doesn't really leave enough room to plug in devices in/out that way, so I mounted it on the bottom, secured with zip ties. I was worried at first that the transformers would not stay in due to gravity, but actually that was not a problem.-- In hindsight, it might have been better to mount it offset from center so that it could hide further behind an under-desk file cabinet.-- At the time of this review it is a slightly cheaper if purchased directly from IKEA, however I was willing to pay a few dollars more to have it delivered promptly via Amazon Prime shipping.
