So heres the scoop. This product has so many mixed reviews. I bought mine 2 days ago and it got here today. HAVENT HAD ANY TRAIL USE YET! However alittle tester in a cup of water and it worked like a champ. Id definitely buy another if i had to. The flow is reasonable and it came with a bladder extention which was cool. Ill hopefully be taking this out this weekend. Happy shopping and if you consider this product its worth buying.

Received the unit and tried it on town water (water that is good enough to drink by itself). Worked ok first time (required moderate suction and reasonable water flow), but then later when I tried it again it was extremely difficult to suck the water through the filter -- I had to suck very hard and very little to no water came through the filter. In all, I have pulled less than a cup of water through the filter, and yet it has effectively been unusable afterwards.I have returned this to Amazon for refund.

We needed something like this for our Bug Out Bags. This was well made and I like that it had multiple features on it. Whistle, mirror and compass. Thanks Amazon!

Good compact and very versatile. Have gadgets like whissle, mirror and compass. Handy and potential life saving. Water is important for survival out there, and this is one of those..."Don't leave home without it", if you are going into the wilderness.

I bought one of these straws and the end was full of epoxy so I couldn’t drink Nothing thru it wrote a bad review the owner of the company contacted me and said he would replace it well now it’s going on two months and havnt seen a replacement straw yet I guess they don’t really give a damn about there customers all I can say is don’t plan on being able to drink thru your straw because you might have one like mine full of epoxy and don’t plan on them making it right because apparently they won’t. Good thing my life didn’t depend on my straw cause I would be a dead man.

Great emergency tool for purifying water!I have used it while camping and out in rura areas, and it works!I recommend everyone have one in their emergency kits!
